What can I make for someone whose diet is vegan, gluten/sugar free, and only eats raw?!

Question: If I were to have a party and invite this person, what could I make for them?

This is always a hit at our Raw Potlucks
Broccoli Salad
This is a wonderful raw version of the traditional broccoli salad with bacon and cheddar. Someone else deserves the credit for this recipe, but I can’t remember where I got it from. Sorry!
I am not a huge fan of onions, so I prefer to use only 1/4 cup, and add the onion to the dressing ingredients in the blender. I also sometimes throw the broccoli in the dehydrator for a while before I mix it with the other ingredients, just to soften it up a little.
Ingredients
5 cups broccoli, chopped
1 cup sunflower seeds
? cup onion, chopped
? cup raisins, soaked until soft
DRESSING
1 cup cashews
3 tablespoons agave nectar
2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
? teaspoon sea salt
? cup water
Preparation
Blend the dressing ingredients until smooth. Then pour over the broccoli, onion, sunflower seeds and raisins. Mix well.

Slainté(to your health)

Two carrots and a radish. But just put them on a pretty plate.

Anything that is fresh and raw.

Vegetable plate, fruit plate, nuts.

Strawberries, grapes, jicama, and some other kind of berries on one plate, and broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, cauliflower and celery on another plate, and unroasted nuts in a bowl. To drink: unpasteurized fruit juice.

make a salad with lots of fresh vegetables and other foods (peppers, carrots, cucumbers, radish, spinach leaves, sunflower seeds, fresh herbs, tomatoes...)

Do you know HOW silly this is???
sorry,,,, tell your f/iend to bring YOU something over..

It sounds like they are a raw foodist.
An easy suggestion:
Vege Platter - broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, cucumber, snow peas, chick pea sprouts and celery served with small bowls of salsa, guacamale and vegan pesto

For more ideas (including raw pesto) look at: http://www. vegecentral.com - follow the Raw button

better to ask him/her directly instead... he/she knows what to eat and will give you a straight answer instead of you and answerers here trying to guess what to serve.

A dish of brown rice (healthier than white) just don't add salts.
Or wild rice(check the box to be sure).

A romaine lettuce salad with some cucumbers in it and tomatoes.

Tomatoe soup (I think! just read the labels to be sure).

edit^jee, sorry didnt read the raw part- well..that's a lil extreme..sorry.

I like to serve this salad at parties; it's a hit with everyone (raw or not):

Cherry Orange Salad
4 cups mesclun greens
3 oranges, sliced into triangle wedges
1 cup cherries, pitted and cut in half
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1. Place greens, orange triangles and cherries in a medium salad bowl
2. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar
3. Toss and serve

Your raw friend might enjoy this with an avocado or some raw nuts and will be able to partake in a portion of the communal meal if you serve this.

Hope this helps and have a great party.
