All things being equal, you'd be more likely to lose weight upon going vegan. I haven't lost or gained. I've been baking a lot of delectable vegan goodies, though, so if I cut that out I'll probably drop a few. It really just depends on you: if you eat more calories than you burn, you'll gain weight and if you eat fewer calories than you burn, you'll lose weight.
You can't gain weight on vegetables, I'm almost certain. But you probably can gain weight on whatever high calorie sauces and what not you put on them.
maybe a good heap of veggies (or some deeply cooked or fried) may cause it. just as long as you keep a good exersize sccedule youll be fine. you have a good diet (maybe try some protien tablets or vitamins here or there?)
drink a good deal of water
I was in a veggie/vegan co-op. There were no fat vegans. None. There were chubby, though not fat veggies. I'd say you're fine. Just don't eat a lot of bread. I ate vegan/breadless over the summer and dropped like 15-20 lbs.

you can eat just like you always did...with just different ingredients.
Tofu and tempeh are SOY. Soy is a known endocrine system disruptor... beginning with your thyroid... you notice that when you start getting fat and tired. The next stage that soy sets is a whole range of nutritional deficiencies because it actually BLOCKS your ability to absorb nutrients from the rest of the food you are eating. You will also notice that you are starting to get "skin tags"... this is because most of the soy is processed with an acid solution in aluminum tanks... this is aluminum poisoning. The Morningstar Farms brand of vegetarian convenience foods you find in the grocery stores is LOADED with soy.
You need to recover from the use of soy. Start working in lots of nori, dulse and other seaweed products to help your thyroid.
Get your protein by making some veggie patties using ground raw nuts and veggies... you don't heat them, though you can use a food dehydrator to heat them to a comfortable 105 degrees without losing the benefit of the enzymes.
Yeah they put on weight by eating only unhealthy food by soda all the time and chips but otherwise you wont gain weight since your cutting out meat and animal product.
As long as you excercise.
