Hey great avatar!!
Congratulations on becoming a vegetarian, but you can't eat fish because it's animal flesh. Good luck on your pursuit though!

Hey Krusty ;-) Who are they imitating?
You can eat fish if your a vegetarian?????
I guess anything you want, its not like you get kicked out of vegetarian club if you eat a burger.
You would think the term VEGETARIAN would be enough to answer your question.
You can't eat fish. Fish is an animal. Vegetarians do not eat animals. If you cut out all animals other than fish/sealife you are a pescetarian, not a vegetarian. Vegetarians can eat any plant product (veggies, fruits, grains, legumes, etc) as well as dairy and eggs. Vegans eat a wholly plant based diet. This doesn't mean you just sit around eating broccolli and salads all day, though. There's tons of Italian, Thai, Middle Eastern, and Indian dishes that are vegetarian or vegan. You can google recipies for vegan versions of anything, from mac n cheese to birthday cake, and there's a way to do it without animal products.
if you really want to be a vegetarian than you can't even eat fish because that's a living creature just like animals so it makes no sense to eat that and not eat animals.
no fish. it is a living aminal. otherwise, you can eat any plant life, or substance not involving the death of another animal.
a vegan, does also not eat animal products such as milk or eggs. they can have rice or almond milk, but nothing from an animal
Hi troll.
Only a dimwit would think that vegetarians eat fish.
Sorry, but the person that you are imitating has been around much longer than you.
Eating fish does NOT make you a vegetarian. Fish is flesh, a living animal with parents, a face, a pulse.
If you'd like to simply reduce your meat consumption, go ahead, but you're not practicing vegetarianism.
As for what you can eat... you can eat anything! Simply avoid flesh, lard, animal fats, gelatin, animal broth/bullion, vitamin D3, etc... If you find yourself craving some of these things, there are vegetarian replacements for ALL of them.
Flesh = faux meats, veggie burgers, 'chick' strips, seitan, tempeh and more
Lard/Animal Fats = vegetable shortening, canola oil, coconut oil, etc...
Gelatin = Tapioca flour, agar flakes, arrowroot
Animal broth/bullion = vegetable broth
vitamin D3 = vitamin D2
vegetarians do not eat fish, troll
Okay, vegetarians don't eat fish..It's flesh/animal.
Don't call yourself one if you eat fish please, you make us look hypocritical.
Anyways, try soy! (milk and products) And tofu.

Poultry and seafood as far as "white meats". If you see yourself as a flexitarian vegetarian, then of course "red" meats are open to you.
The rule of thumb is that a majority of your diet is plant-based. I like to use 75-90% as a rule of thumb, although there are some weeks when I'm off duty where it is 100%.
Google "Flexitarian Diets" to get a sense of what you can and should include for a moderate, well-balanced and healthy diet. Don't forget appropriate exercise and meditation as well. It's not just about diet.
fish and veggies ( jello has cow hooves in it )
you can eat beef: chicken: too
m tellin you truth they are tasty very mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
very good so good for health.
If you still eat bird (some people do)...you can have chicken, turkey, tofu, a tofu turkey (tastes like turkey, but made of tofu), fruits, and veggies. You can stll be a vegetarian if you eat fish and poultry because they are not considered animal meat...they are not part of the mammal group...so you can eat them.
