The best versus the worst?!
Answers: What is the best vegetarian dish you ever had? Which one was the worst? What made them so good or so bad?
That's too hard.
I've had lots of good vegetarian dishes and lots of bad ones.
worst: A bad one I have had was at a chinese restaurant when I chose the garlic vegetable noodle dish and I asked them not to use chicken stock. The dish had no flavouring in it at all, as they don't know how to cook without chicken stock at this restaurant.
Best: Age Dofu from Jun Japanese restaurant. It is an entree, with a large block of deep-fried silken tofu in a clear sweet broth. The texture and flavours are amazing, some of my meat-eating friends order it now too. Even though the tofu is deep-fried, only the outside is so the inside remains silken, and it still doesn't seem oily.
I HATE carrot and raisin salad. It grosses me out to no end. Made me sick on a plane once. Eww, eww, eww, eww, eww.
I love home style bean-curd from Chinese restaurants. I love the texture of the bean-curd. I love the yummy veggies they put in the dish. Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm.
