Since Bare Essentials is mineral make up then does that mean it is a vegan brand?!

Question: Well, to be vegan it would have to not only not contain animal products, but also not be tested on animals. It looks like it is in deed, vegan, though. Here's a list of vegan cosmetics I saved from an earlier yahoo answers question:

Someone commented below about how Burt's Bee's isn't vegan. Well, they don't test on animals: http://www.burtsbees.com/webapp/wcs/stor... , which I guess would be enough for some vegans. It is true that a significant number of their products contain honey. Some people who call themselves vegan will use honey, even though the most generally accepted definition of veganism would not allow for it.

I have no idea. But in reading the answer above me; Burt's Bees????!!!!

Burts Bees is vegan? The base ingredient in nearly all their products is BEES WAX! And the other lotions use milk.

I seriously kind of doubt it's vegan.
