I have never eaten meat. Veggie all my life. My husband is from cowboy land. he grew up eating meat and potatoes.

At home there is no meat. I cook very healthy, lots of protein, iron, leafy greens. very tasty food, - I am Indian. Loads of worldy tasty foods.

breakfast and dinner is veggie for my husband. at lunch (at work), he eats meat.

I would like him to stop, but its more for health. I worry very much about his heart and his weight. I love him very much so of course I want the best for him. I know he is a kind man, so I do not judge him.

I do not have close contact with non-vegetarians.

I used to eat meat and my partner too. He went vegetarian, but didn't force me into anything, then after about 6 months I did too (spontaneously), and now I'm encouraging him to go vegan :)

don't fight your temtation just eat it

Yes my boyfriend is a meat eater, if he eats meat then he brushes his teeth soon after. And he usually dosen't cook meat when I am home, when he does he lights incense and candles to cover the smell. I don't try to force anyone not to eat meat, he knows the basics of the meat industry and chooses not to know too much. That is his choice, but he did agree to my no pig products in the house rule so that is good.

I went vegan and I admit, I pressured my boyfriend to follow suit. He already agreed with me on all the animal cruelty issues and most of the health issues (he was misinformed about a few nutritional things and after we talked, he understood). He had agreed with all of it on his own accord, and thats when I actually started raising my eyebrows a bit at what he was eating AFTER he told me he believes we shouldn't be doing it. (I don't like hypocrites - really, if you don't believe it, that's a whole other issue, but don't tell me you do and then go ahead and keep acting the opposite!)

It didn't take too much for him to stop, really. He's not as gung-ho as I am, meaning he will still buy leather, eat egg and dairy products sometimes, and he'll sneak in some seafood now and then. I don't know if he eats meat when I'm not around - but I think he's doing pretty good compared to before! I give him glares when I find shrimp in his fridge. And when he eats dairy, but thats more-so to look out for his health and his high weight.

So... I can't say I ever had a meat-breath issue, lol.

I think he would go almost 100% if it was just easier. Let's face it, the hard part about being veg isn't what you're giving up, its the convenience factor! How many people would have no problems going veg if we had 100% vegan grocery stores in every neighborhood, where we could do our shopping hassle-free? Same with, say, buying shoes - it took me a couple months to find appropriate, animal-friendly sneakers.... most people just can't be bothered, its sad.

My wife eats meat occasionally, but it doesn't gross me out. It's her body, all I care about is doing whats best for me.

Yeah... I'm vegetarian and my boyfriend is the BIGGEST meat eater, it's gross. He will eat a big steak or something and then try to kiss me, won't kiss him lol. I make him brush his teeth and use mouthwash first haha.

It would appear that, for the sake of you and your partner's happiness, if you can't suppress your disgust at the smell of meat and your judgementalness towards his/her lifestyle...then you'd both be better off with more compatible partners.
