Cheap, but healthy alternatives to beef and pork? going semi-vegetarian!?!
Answers: i need these substitute foods to provide me with the same nutrients that pork and beef provide me with : D
The brand "Boca" makes super delicious and affordable frozen entrees to substitute meat. try their "Vegan grilled patties" also "try garden burgers" ; veggie dogs and corn dogs. there's tons of stuff you can find in the reg. old grocery store. also try leafy greens. our bodies are not designed to properly digest flesh. the rotting of flesh that settles in your stomach from beef pork and other meat, can cause disease like colon cancer, as well as other health problems down the road. these health problems outweigh the so called nutrients you receive from ingesting them.
beans, tofu
Lamb and duck. A large lamb roast can feed a family for several dinners and a good size duck for at least two nights.
Sushi! Tofu is good too. Fish like shrimp, tuna, anchovies.
beans, tofu, veggie burgers ( little pricey), peanut butter, yams(?)
soy beans
soak soy beans over night and cook it in food
i get soy beans for 39cent/LB
Fish
Since you are not going Vegetarian, you can still eat fish.
Pork doesn't provide you with protein lol.
Do you know what's in it?.... haha i'm sure you don't want to know!
Anyways, Soy is VERY good for you.
