Answers: whats the difference between them? I recently decided to go veggie but which should i choose? Help!!!

A vegetarian is someone who eats NO meat: fish, pork, beef, chicken, etc.

A pescitarian eats no meat, but also eats fish.

A vegan eats NO animal products whatsoever: dairy, eggs, etc.

A pescitarian is probably the easiest thing for you to do. I'm a vegetarian, and I crave a little meat now and then. So fish really does kill the cravings. But the choice really is up to you.
Either one you choose, you should consider taking some supplements to get your vitamins/minerals in that you could be missing with meat.

i dont know what pescitarian is but vegitarian is no meat. vegan is no animal products. [no milk, no eggs, nothing.]

Vegetarians do not eat meat or seafood, but can eat milk and cheese. Pescitarian is a vegetarian who eats seafood but no meat. Vegans eat nothing that is derived from animals in any way.
Vegan is the most difficult lifestyle to follow, there are so many animal by-products in so many things that you never even dreamed about.

The difference:

A pescetarian diet excludes land animals and birds, but includes fish, mollusks, and crustaceans in addition to fruits, vegetables, plants, legumes, nuts, and grains. Eggs and dairy may or may not be present in the pescetarian's diet.

A vegetarian does not eat meat or fish, but may eat animal products (cheese, icecream, yogurt etc)

A vegan eats NO meat or fish or meat products.

Hope that helps.

The previous answers are correct. I am a pescetarian. I know that many vegetarians do not agree with eating fish, but at least I do not eat any other animals. I primarily eat a vegetarian diet, and I do not eat fish every day, but I occasionally eat a small amount of fish. Good luck with going veggie... it will soon become second nature to you, and you won't even miss the meat.

vegetarians eat no meat poultry or seafood.
Lacto-ovo vegetarians can eat eggs and dairy
Lacto vegetarians have dairy but not eggs
ovo vegetarians do not have dairy but have eggs

A vegan does not have any animal products so not dairy eggs honey ect.

pescitarians is not considered a type of vegetarianism by most people because they eat seafood but they do not eat meat or poultry but do eat eggs seafood and dairy.

A vegetarian eats no animal flesh.

A vegan neither eats nor uses any animal related products.

A pescitarian is an omnivore that doesn't eat any animal flesh except fish and seafood.

Vegetarian doesn't eat meats.
Pescitarian doesn't eat meat but eats fish.
And a Vegan does eat meat, or products that comes from animals-dairy, eggs

Vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat (no fish, no chicken, no pork, no beef...).

Pescetarian is someone who eats fish, but does not eat the other meats (no chicken, no pork, no beef...)

A Vegan is someone who does not eat OR wear anything that is animal-based or contains animal byproducts. (No fish, no chicken, no pork, no beef, no eggs, no milk, no honey AND no wool, no silk, no leather....) Vegans are vigilant about ingredients in things they buy. Basically anything and everything they buy is animal free....

There is also the Raw Foodists who only eat food that is not cooked over 104 degrees...this is the MOST extreme group of conscientious consumers.

It is so easy these days to go vegetarian or vegan because most major supermarkets are now stocking 'dairy free' products (so yes, you can still have your 'ice cream'). There are also egg substitutes out there, butter substitutes...you name it, some store has it. Basically, anything that meat eaters eat, there is an alternative vegetarian product out there....(like Veggie Burgers...)

You should choose what you are comfortable with, what makes you feel healthy, and what is true to your nature.

Good Luck!
