Answers: or restaurants with veg. choices on their menus

Yes, of course! You'll never run out of options, no matter where you are, if you consult a veg restaurant directory such as VegDining.com. Here's the link:

Happy healthy and compassionate eating!

The Hare Krishna community runs vegetarian resturaunts in certain areas. They are usually called "the Higher Taste" or something like that. You could google it and the name of your locality.

I have their cookbook. Some of the food is quite nice.

There are tons of veg restaurants, usually one in every small city or large town.

You can find one in your area on Happy Cow:

Depends on where you live. I've lived in Texas for most of my life, and there was a sort-of vegetarian place in the medium-sized city where I lived (but there are a few more chicken options...but it's still very vegetarian). In San Antonio, where I went to college, there was a restaurant that wasn't too bad that had only vegetarian food (even some vegan stuff...like vegan queso) called "Green".

In California and Colorado and New York, you'll find tons of places.

Yes there are. Plenty. You need to google your area. If mean franchise types, not to my knowledge all the ones I have ever gone to have been local owned.

There are many vegetarian restaurants in the US.
Many of them are asian such as chinese and indian.

there is in most citys mine sucks through its old and faling apart

Most restaurants have at least a few vegetarian items on their menu, and many places are starting to section them off into a specific section of the menu. There are, however, very few strictly vegetarian restaurants in most areas. Anyone telling you they're everywhere is full of it. They are easy enough to find in medium to large cities, but are few and far between in smaller towns. The nearest to me is around 25 miles away.

There are plenty of vegetarian resturants and hotels.

look at "happy cow", "vegetarian visitor" or the classified adverts for the veggie society, VIVA, PETA etc.

I'm a VEGAN and I eat out all the time, at whatever restaurant my group chooses.

It's seriously not hard to say "hold the cheese" or "beans instead of meat"...
