Are hippies vegetarians?!

Question: I mean the people who call themselves hippies are they supposed to vegetarians at the least or vegans

Answers: I mean the people who call themselves hippies are they supposed to vegetarians at the least or vegans

No !

They were the Peace-Lovers in the sixties. They smoked pot and drank too much. As far as I know a lot of them didn't look after their diets much while they were stoned.

Not necessarily

I don't think....I am a vegetarian and my mom is too and we are not hippies.

I hope I helped!!!

Please don't false judge vegetarians thanx!!!=]

Some are, some aren't. They aren't "supposed" to be anything.

Most hippies are. Not ALL of them, but if you are ever to find a hippie, he/she would probably be a vegen/vegetarian

i am a hippie vegan.
i think if someone believes in oeace they should be veggie

veggie punk cool!
steve jobs owns apple computers. - not a hippie!
Albert Eistein - not a hippie!
Pamela Anderson - not a hippie - a sl*t but not a hippie!
Gandi - not a hippie - he was by profession a lawyer

That's a steriotype.

I don't know any self-proclaimed hippies. Not to mention, majority of people will say they support peace, yet majority of the people eat meat. Why are you singling out "hippies"?

No. There is a stereotype that all hippies are vegans, but although some may be vegan, most of the hippies I've come across are the type who defend meat eating with the "dude, it's the circle of life... don't harsh my mellow.... I say thanks to the animal for sacrificing him/herself to us..." rhetoric.

There are all different kinds of vegetarians of course.
But my sister is such a hippie it's unreal, and she is a vegan. So it can go either way.
