Are vegetables and fruits from a can less nutritious, even if there is no salt or sugar added?!

Question: I know that some of the nutrients are cooked out of the vegetables.... but when I buy produce, it spoils so quickly.

Fresh is best. Frozen is second best. Canned is third. But a bunch of canned fruits & vegetables are still better than none at all.

any time you can something you lose nutrients. so yes they are. i would try frozen. they have bags of frozen fruits even. at the store check the freezer section out.

The most nutrients are in the peel.

i belive that the ones not in a can r more even tho i eat ones' in a can b/c in a can they ahve to put stuff in there to preserve it and keep it good to eat

not necessarily -some veggies have added salt and some fruits have added sugar. read labels and don't forget frozen options, as well.

Canned foods can be less nutritious, not to mention less tasty in most cases. Buy frozen if you can't get fresh.

But there are many fruits and veggies it's just best to get fresh
