Can vegans/vegetarians eat fish/seafood?!
As for vegans, well, they get their panties in a bunch over eating anything that might have once had a central nervous system, so the answer from them would be "No. Now please pass the tofu".
Answers: The word "vegetarian" was never very strictly defined. If you go to any restaurant in France, they think a vegetarian is somebody who just doesn't eat red meat. So yeah, some of them are fine with seafood.

Vegans can not.
vegetarians have to be of a sect of vegetarians that accepts seafood in order to eat fish or seafood.
It is completely up to them if they want to eat fish. If they are choosing vegetarianism for animal well fair issues - I would say no as seafood are living beings
Some people dont consider fish meat. It really depends on wat you think . But in my opinion I'd say dont eat seafood because all those things are still animals. and if you are really an animal love you would ccare
Hi!
I am a vegetarian thinking about going vegan.
Vegans cannot eat fish/seafood.
Vegetarians can.....they are called pesco-vegetarian i was that before i became a lacto-ovo vegetarian.
No because that is meat and vegans can't consume any animal products or by-products and vegetarians can't they can only eat vegetation as in the name they would be considered pescatarian.
No, vegans cannot eat fish.
On the other hand with vegetarians it can depend. If you are a pesco- vegetarian, than you cannot eat meat or poultry or pork, but you can eat fish/seafood.
Ideally no as vegetarians dont eat flesh foods but somehow this has slipped thru the radar over the years. There are so many fancy names for vegetarians these days and alot dont want to give up fish but still want to be "vegetarian". Ask the vegetarian society, they say if you eat fish you are not vegetarian as its a flesh food. If you are vegan definately no animal or animal by products and that includes fish. And if you do eat fish you are not a vegetarian, you are still a meat eater just not a red meat or chicken eater!
Vegans avoid all animal foods and products.
Fish are animals.
Therefore, vegans do not eat fish.
Vegetarians do not eat animals.

true vegetarians do NOT eat any meat, seafood included. anyone who tells you otherwise is misinformed.
vegans do not eat meat, or any animal-by products.
No to both. A vegan doesn't eat anything of animal origin and a vegetarian doesn't eat any kind of meat including fish. Some people only eat fish and consider themselves vegetarian when in fact they're not...it's a popular misconception!
Vegans do not...
But one the hotly contested debates here is when some people who eat fish and seafood call themselves vegetarians.. some say they should not, some say leave them alone, some say they are a different "level"... you decide...
i can't understand it when people say " vegans CAN'T" as if vegans are afflicted with some kind of disease or have a damoclean sword hanging over their heads that prevents them form making their own decisions.. certainly vegans CAN but their personal convictions say they SHOULD not so they don't
They can eat what they like, there's no vegan or vegetarian police; they choose not to eat fish or seafood.
They cannot if they wish to be vegetarians or vegans.
