Thanks!

Shazzie's soft-porn durian video turned me off of her. I find her absolutely disgusting and tacky now.

Pesto stuffed mushrooms in the dehydrator are good.

I also like spiralized zucchini (into noodles) then mixing olive oil, garlic, sea salt, pepper, and onions and dehydrating it a bit to warm it.

Cutting avocados into chunks, mixing it with taco seasoning (cayenne, cumin, chili powder), jalapenos, onions, tomatoes and eating it with a fork or in a lettuce wrap is really good.

I also like to marinate mushrooms, onions, and sometimes chopped bell peppers in bragg's with garlic powder and sometimes cumin/chili/cayenne.

I also make an island fruit jerk which is pineapple chunks, coconut shreds, chopped onions and jalapenos, banana slices, sea salt, pepper, lime juice, and agave nectar. It sounds gross, but it's surprisingly good.

Raw tacos are pretty popular.

If you are like me and like for dinner to be the most filling meal... be sure to incorporate nuts ( causes the release of an enzyme that helps you feel full) and avocados (fat!).

Have you already looked at the entrees on the http://www.rawfoods.com/recipes/ and http://goneraw.com/recipes sites? Yum!!

And of course we can't forget VegWeb:

This is from VegWeb:

Raw Tacos

Ingredients:

1/2 of an avocado
3 slices green pepper
2 slices each red and yellow pepper
1 full slice of an onion
1/2 cup broccoli and cauliflower florets
pico de gallo
salsa
lemon juice
garlic powder
salt
3 pieces romaine, green leaf, or red leaf lettuce

Directions:

Mash the avocado in a bowl. Chop 1 slice of green pepper and half the onion slice and add these to the avocado. Season to taste with lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt, thus making raw guacamole. Cut the remaining peppers into long pieces.

To assemble, put a layer of guacamole down, followed by the pico, peppers, onion, broccoli, and cauliflower. Top with salsa and fold in the back and roll up sides.

Serves: 3

And here is a random recipe I found online:
(I've seen these made with thin slices of sweet potato too.)

ALISSA COHEN'S RAW RAVIOLI

Wrappers (these replace the pasta dough):

* 4 turnips

Peal the turnips. Slice the turnips into very thin slices, by cutting them in half and then using a spiral slicer, mandolin or other vegetable slicer to make thin round disks.

Cheese filling:

* 1 cup pine nuts
* 1 cup macadamia nuts
* 1 cup walnuts
* 6 t braggs
* 8 t lemon juice
* 2 cloves garlic
* 1 cup parsley

Blend the pine nuts, macadamia nuts and walnuts in a food processor until ground. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well, until creamy.

Tomato Sauce:

* 2 large tomatoes
* 1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
* 1/4 fresh basil
* 1 clove garlic
* 6 dates
* dash of olive oil (optional)

Soak the sun dried tomatoes until soft. In the food processor, blend the tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and garlic - until well blended . Add the dates and olive oil and blend until smooth. This sauce should be thick.

Directions for Assembling the Ravioli:

1. Remove a single turnip slice from the batch.
2. Place a teaspoon full of cheese filling in the turnip slice and fold the turnip over until all the sides meet.
3. Squeeze the edges together. Some of the filling will ooze out, but this is what will hold the edges together. Just put the excess back into the bowl to reuse. If you don't have enough filling in them they will not stick together.
4. Place them in a single layer on a large plate and drizzle the tomato sauce on top, allow to sit for a few hours. The turnip will become soft from the tomato sauce.
5. To serve, scoop us the raviolis with a spatula.

I went almost all raw for 30 days with my hubby. I didn't cut out my morning coffee or night time wine but everything else was raw. What I recommend is that you don't go to crazy with the raw nuts. I ended up gaining weight because I found that I love raw nuts and raw nut butter. So just keep an eye on your nut consumption.
Try eatin mostly raw foods in there natural state with an ocassional prepared raw dish.
Here are a few recipes that I have found.

Raw- Date Nut Torte
Base of Torte:
2 cups raisins
2 cups walnuts
Frosting:
1 cup dates, pitted and soaked
1/2 lemon, juiced
For Base:
In food processor, combine raisins and walnuts and blend until well blended and moist. (this will take a few min and you may see it forming a ball. Just make sure the raisins come out looking like a fudgey mixture and are not still grainy)
Remove from processor and mold onto a plate in a round circle about 1 1/2 in thick.
Fro Frosting:
In a food processor, combine dates and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting on top of the torte

Raw- Energizing Smoothie
This is my favorite energizing smoothie. It is delicious!
1/2 Cup Filtered Water
1/4 of a Whole Pineapple, peeled and cut into pieces
10 Strawberries
1 Mango, peeled and cut into pieces
1 Banana
3 Ice Cubes
Process in a blender until creamy. It works best if you blend in between adding fruits otherwise the blender may get stuck.

Raw- Fudge Balls (very yummy)
2 cups dates, pitted and soaked
2 cups almond butter
1/2 cup carob powder
1. IN a food processor, blend the dates to a smooth paste.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
3. Remove from processor and form into round balls.

Raw- Strawberry - Banana Pie
Ingredients:
1-1.5 cups soaked almonds
0.5 cups dates
1 tsp. cinnamon
0.5 tsp. nutmeg
0.25 cup orange juice
3 pints strawberries
4 bananas
0.125 cup fresh shredded coconut
Instructions
1. Freeze 2 pints of the strawberries and 2 bananas
2. Blend almonds, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange juice in a food processor.
3. Form the blended mixture into a pie crust in a 9 inch pie dish.
4. Process the frozen fruit to a sorbet consistency in a Champion juicer using the blank plate.
5. Slice up the remaining strawberries and bananas.
6. Layer the sorbet and fruit slices over the pie crust.
7. Decorate with coconut.
Remarks on the recipe:
1) It's an excellent pie - I had a chance to eat some at an earlier meeting.
2) In step 4, you can use a blender instead of a Champion juicer. Just let the fruit thaw some before putting it in blender.

Raw-Green smoothie (this is incredible you cannot taste the spinach at all. However if it sits it tends to solidifiy. So either drink right away or reblend before drinking. I also like to snack on frozen cherries or frozen grapes. Yummy and thirst quenching)

Raw-Green smoothie
Easy & you can make 5-6 quarts all at once and then drink them over 2-3 days. Here is simple recipe that I defy anyone to dislike.
1 small bunch spinach (about 4 ounces)
12oz package frozen unsweetened cherries
2 bananas
16 oz cold water
Blend well. Better then any milkshake you ever had.

Raw-Mock Chicken Salad (this is great with a big green salad)
This is really delicious stuffed in a large tomato or avocado.
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
1/4 C sunflower seeds
1 C cashews
1 cucumber, peeled and seeded and cut into chunks
2 green onions, cut into smaller pieces
1 cup of pecans
1 celery stick, cut into chunks
1 tsp. dried dill
1/4 tsp. curry powder
juice of 1/2 a lemon
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in a food processor and pulse chop until everything is chopped medium to fine. Enjoy!
