Is Calcium from milk healthy? What's the best source of Calcium?!
Answers: Any vegetables contain a lot of amount of calcium that's beneficial? That won't pass through the body?
Milk saps minerals from our bones in order to help process the animal protein. That is why we have the highest osteoporosis rate, and we have the highest animal protein (milk especially) consumption rate.
Research phosphorus/phosphoric acid and calcium in dairy.
You should be getting your calcium from a varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and especially greens.
Yes, there are lots of veggies with loads of calcium, but the calcium from milk is healthy! You need your dairy products! Spinach and other dark greens have calcium.
Well calcium from milk is bad because some people are allergies to it,the best way to get good quaintly calcium is use pig bone to make a soup or cook the bone(peaces) in a soup then suck up the black thing in their that the best source of calcium.
Calcium from milk is healthy, and it's a great source of it, especially if you drink organic. It has about %30 of your daily need of calcium in just one cup.
Lots of vegetables have calcium. Broccoli, or any kind of dark green veggie typically has a lot of calcium (kale, collard greens, spinach). Nuts have calcium too, especially almonds.
Also look into whole grains and fruits. There are some of each that also have a lot of calcium.
yes calcium from milk is healthy and good for growing children (especially) more than adults. Lack of calcium in the early years can cause bone diseases later in life.
Also you can take calcium tablets (for adults) if you don't like drinking milk, but consult your GP first.
Also soya milk can boost calcium levels and goat milk (that is if you don't like cow's milk).
Yes calcium from milk is good. Raw cows or raw goat milk is the best. Soy milk usually has calcium added and is not always a realiable source. If you wish to give up dairy raw unhulled sesame seeds are one of the richest sources of calcium around and so are sea vegetables. Hijiki being the richest of all sea vegetables. Parsley is good and so is brocolli and other greens, raw is best. Wheatgrass is good also. Calcium supplements can be a bit tricky, id always chose calcium hydroxyapetite as it the best absorbed by the body and always get one with magnesium. Also in reguards to youre diet if youre not getting enough magnesium you wont fully absorb calcium, they work in unison with each other and youre nuts and seeds are good for magnesium. Some people believe once youre weened off milk that it is not really that great for you to keep having it as an adult but I think if you can get a raw variety its fantastic and organic!
Calcium from milk is very healthy because milk contains vitamin D, which increases calcium absorption. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin and there is fat in milk. So I'd say it's a great source.
Calcium from vegetables probably wouldn't be absorbed as much because most veggies are low in fat. I don't really think supplements would help either because you need to ingest calories to get the metabolism running in order to metabolize nutrients.
