Don't eat anything that ever had a mother. However it is hard to determine the difference between a Vegetarian and a Vegan.

Vegetarian is a blanket term used to describe a person who does not consume meat, poultry, fish, or seafood. This grouping includes vegans and the various sub- categories of vegetarian; however, it generally implies someone who has less dietary restrictions than a vegan.

Vegan is the strictest sub-category of vegetarians. Vegans do not consume any animal products or by-products. Some go as far as not even consuming honey and yeast. Others do not wear any clothing made from animal products.

nope

no

some do it depends on what level you personally go.

Some vegetarians will eat fish for example. It is really up to you personally since it is your free choice but to be called a vegetarian then not eating domestic meat is at least one requirement.

yes you can. its vegans that don't eat meat AND anything from an animal (such as milk or eggs)

If you're not vegan, than yes. The textbook of a vegetarian is one who does not eat meat. Not eating eggs (Which is considered an animal biproduct) is a vegan habit.

yes, you can.
plus, can i hav my answer chosen as the best and receive a thumbs-up?

You can't eat boiled eggs but you can eat fried ones...

It depends they may be vegetatrtian which means they keep egg or they may ne vegan which means you don't eat meat eggs of fish.
So them people u see eating eggs are probably just vergetrians

I ate eggs when I was a veggie. If you're a vegan you don't eat any animal products. But if you're a vegetarian its mostly just meat - beef, chicken, fish. Commercial eggs havent been fertilised so aren't actual baby chicks. Thus I dont think they count as an animal, only a product.

yes you can!!

Have a read of http://www.kingston.ac.uk/ksikhsoc/Artic... and decide.

well that depends on what kind of vegetarian you are..there are vegetarians who eat eggs and milk products (Ovo-lacto vegetarians) and those who dont eat eggs but milk products (Lacto vegetarians). So if these ppl are ovo-lacto vegetarians its ok when they eat eggs.

There are a variety of different practices of vegetarianism.

Lacto-ovo vegetarianism & Ovo vegetarianism can eat eggs.

Lacto vegetarianism & vegetarianism can't eat eggs

If you are a lacto-ova vegetarian then that means you eat dairy products and eggs, but not fish, meat or chicken.

If you are a vegan then that means you do NOT eat any animal products, not even honey. Also you do you wear anything that was made with animal products. That includes, shoes, clothing, makeup, shampoo, etc.

yes,
there are different types of vegetarians.

No. Eggs are from a chicken. Not veggies or the earth. Maybe their part vegetarian. Some dont eat meat but they do have dairy

Vegetarian is a label. Eat what you want.

if you are a true vegetarian (vegan) no

Vegetarians DO eat eggs, because no animal was killed to make the eggs.

Vegans, however, don't eat any animal products at all, so they do NOT eat eggs.

No - only unfertilised eggs are sold so if you eat boiled eggs, you won't be eating any animals.

Of course, but take the shells off first!

sincerely no....because that time you crush the egg ,learned people realized that bacteria goes to that hypertension causing egg, for a strict vegetarian fowls and eggs are not edible, its toxin ,its full of cholesterol and saturated fats, and can make you suffer at your old age, but for survival since very few knows how to remain alive without eating , you can eat eggs or become cannibal for 60 days , but staying in the vegetarian environment , no way egg is clean , you cant stomach that thats why its difficult to adjust when you are an idealist and become more practical later. Being an idealist you need to work hard for it.In return you got this realization that some are wrong and you are right , now your voice is yellin to people with different diet and lifestyle as you are, Jesus joined bad people with bad diet, and some criticise him for that , because many people at that time are strictly fanatic vegetarian and very proud not realizing they too have crude mind also like some people here including those people around him at His time..

Course you can!
You can have them raw, if you fancy! lol

Vegetarians eat no meat but do eat animal products.( eggs, milk, whipped cream, honey, and cheese.)

Vegans eat no meat or animal products.(Soy milk, soyrizo, so on and so forth)

Therefore Vegetarians can eat eggs.

Yes, there are many types of vegetarians..

NONE of the types eat fish or chicken, though.. you cannot be a type of vegetarian and eat meat

"vegetarian" is usually accepted as short for "lacto-ovo vegetarians" which are the ones (like me) who eat no meat (Fish is meat) but DO eat milk and milk products (lacto) and eggs (ovo)..

VEGANS ("Vegan-vegetarians") eat or use no animal products including eggs, milk, leather..

If you are an ovo-vegetarian than yes. Ovo means egg.
Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat milk and eggs.
Semi-veg eat fish occasionally
Vegans dont eat eggs or dary products.

The meaning of the word "vegetarian" is someone who depends on veg food.
In the modern time, people categorize it into lacto-vegetarian eggetarian etc., however the basic meaning of this word is I've mentioned above.

Because eggs are not a veg food at all, how can a vegetarian eat them???....not at all....

depends on what level of vegetarian you are. You could be a lacto ovo vegetarian which means you can eat eggs and dairy products. I think that is the most common vegetarian because you aren't so so limited. I was that type for almost ten years. (i really missed eating turkey & chicken)
