What does soy milk do for your body?!

Question: ??

Answers: ??

Soy milk , often fortified very well, gives a person the same nutrients and then some, as milk does without having to drink milk.

More recent studies have shown that soy doesn't particularly have an added health benefit other than the fact that it is a healthier replacement for products that are high in saturated fats. This is true for the milk as it is true for all soy products. It's almost like a "free" protein, in so much that you have all the benefits of a protein without the downfalls.

Soy milk is particularly beneficial to those who are lactose intolerant and/or do not drink cow's milk for religious, health, or moral reasons. Vegans do not ingest animal products or byproducts whatsoever, so the nutrients found in soy milk are especially important to them.

Soy milk, and other soy products, are not a magic bullet that has amazing curative properties or anything like that. It's just a healthier alternative.

soy milk has a lot of calcium and vitamins and easy to digest we are the only mammal that drinks anther mammals milk ( cow milk)

according to a study just released it helps post-menopausal women not put on midriff bulge.

Fortified soymilk has man vitamins that vegans cannot get from animal sources (specifically B12). It is loaded with protein and calcium and it tastes good too (specially vanilla and chocolate mmm). It's also lactose free (so easier to digest) for all you lactose intolerants. I drink it every morning with breakfast and it keeps me full until lunch, when I would normally need a snack between meals. Maybe it's the fiber. In any case, it is very healthy and isn't pumped with antibiotics and hormones like regular milk. I say enjoy, and have a nice day.

Soy products are a healthy replacement for meats or other foods high in saturated fat and total fat.

Soy milk contains no lactose.

Soy milk is rich in isoflavones. This is the most important and unique benefit of soy milk. It has many health benefits, including reduction of cholesterol, easing of menopause symptoms, prevention of osteoporosis & reduction of risk for certain cancers (prostate cancer and breast cancer).

Soy beverage, it is not a milk product, must be fortified with tricalcium phospate for the calcium. This is not easily absorbed into your system as milk from dairy animals. Most cow milk is fortified with Vit. D as this mineral enhances the absorption of Ca into your system.

Women who have had breast cancer may want to limit their intake of soy protein, as some studies have pointed to possible harm from consuming excess soy in this group.
