How do you become "certified" to sell wild mushrooms?!

Question: I live in Montana, I see a lot in our health food stores and they say they buy from people that are certified, so no one gets poisoned I assume. I would be selling morels.

I live in Arizona, and we don't have a mad run on wild mushroom sales, as we are primarily a desert across 3/4 of out state.

My suggestion to you would be to contact the following organizations:

Your state health department and your state agricultural department.

I know Washington state requires a license to sell wild mushrooms, but I am guessing the farm is certified organic.

That is an unusual query, but I bet the agriculture department would have tons of resources or they could refer you to someone who might have the information.

I dont know lol ..but YUM cant wait for spring!

don't know about Montana but i think you need a license or permit to sell food stuff..
