Why aren't all people vegitarian?!

Humans are selfish and stupid. They think they need meat and they like it. They can't live without it. They've done it for a long time and their parents did it so it's all okay.
Same arguments can be used for smoking.
And no, we're not made to be vegetarian, our physiology is much closer to a herbivore's than even an omnivore.
Because we are at the top of the food chain.
People don't think about what goes into their food, because meat tastes too good.
It is cruel how they manufacture meat at places, but the solution is not to persuade ALL people to become vegetarian.
Because they like the taste of meat, and that preference outweighs the life of the animal, in their mind.
because people like the taste of meat and its a good source of protein which we need
theres also stuff people can only get from meat
I like animals. I live in a rural area and know about farming practices. People in my family hunt, so I have seen animals from all stages of freshly gutted to butchered and in the freezer.
And you know what? I still eat meat. heck, I crave meat. Nothing will ever replace a juicy hamburger, pork carnitas, a fried egg sandwich, or hot seared scallop. I eat meat because I love the taste, and whether selfish or not, I have no desire to give it up.
Also, I love my leather coat. Deal.
I could not live life without a really good T-Bone every so often!
because I don't want to be a veggie
meat good
meat=good
good=meat
meat=meat
all hail meat
Meat tastes good. I enjoy eating it. I will pay the market price for it.
If you feel like you want to be in touch with nature, then eat meat. Humans are made for eating a variety of foods (especially meat). I'm sorry if it sounds cruel, but its the way the world works. Before us, right now, and here after.
You could almost thank us for not making certain delicious animals extinct. If we didn't eat a single animal ever again, humanity would have no reason for animals to survive. But meat lovers keep those cows breeding.
Because not all animals are treated like that and that site is just propaganda. You should not just accept info from one source that is so biased. Research before you make a big decision. If you want more of that biased propaganda visit this site:
Because we eat meat. About 98% of the population of the U.S. does.
Animals eat animals.
I love animals and i would like to see more humane methods of killing and processing animals for food. But I could never be a vegetarian. I love meat but only like a few types of vegies. I am against hunting/whaling animals that are endangered or at risk, but most meat is from animals grown for the very purpose of food. I hate that many of them have to suffer, but they just need to find other methods.
They aren't vegetarian because they eat meat.
Read through some of the answers...
they're too irrational to see the merits in doing anything differently than the majority.
Because some people don't know about the benefits of the vegetarian lifestyle. Most people think that it's unhealthy, although it's proven to be very healthy.
A lot of people like the taste of meat, so I doubt it will ever happen sadly :/
humans are omnivores and should eat a rounded diet of friuts nuts veggies dairy and meats.
