Question: Recently become vegetarian, any quick and easy dishes anyone can suggest?

almost anything you used to cook with meat can still be cooked using quorn meat substitutes, Linda McCartney's mince, sausages. etc.
veg stew is surprisingly tasty, cook your stew but leave out the meat. dumplings can be made using veggie suet.
lasagna is lovely cooked with quorn, just look out for 'suitable for vegetarians' on the sauce bottles, soup etc.
good luck and glad you decided to join us!!!

Spaghetti with olive oil and garlic. Heat the oil, add a crushed clove. Cook spaghetti and toss in the garlic oil. You stink of garlic the next day - but it is good for you!

Pasta with pesto and parmesan cheese.

Get a packet of frozen stir fry veges from the supermarket all ways ready on hand then. Put a little bit of olive oil in the fry pan and add teaspoon of beef or chicken stock and what ever herbs you like for taste get the pre mixed ones I.e: Italian or Tuscan or Thai add a clove of garlic of you like this. s add tomato paste also this adds colour and taste (get it in a tube. Muttis a good brand doesn't go of in the fridge) Stir fry if you want to have it runnier add water with stock if you want add two minute noodles makes a great yummy meal in 10 minutes

Try the quarn range of food from any decent supermarket like Sainsburys Tesco, i perticulary like Cheeting Bacon from Hollend and barret in rolls very yummy.
