Anyone got a recipe for vegetarian "meat" balls thanks?!

Question: You can buy Smart Breakfast meatballs at the store. Theyre made with textured vegetable protein and they taste great. I buy them at Target and I've seen them at Walmart. Theyre in the freezer section by the morning star and boca products.

1 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 c. pecan meal
1 c. Colby cheese, grated
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
3 eggs
1 pkg. George Washington broth brown or beef seasoning

Mix well and form into balls. Fry and put in a casserole dish and cover with gravy quick and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

250 gms. mashed potatoes
50 gms. mashed green peas
50gms. finely chopped onions
a small bunch of parsley chopped
4 rye vita crackers crushed
seasoning salt&pepper
combine all these, make into small balls and pan fry

Mountain oisters might do the trick. They are kinda scarce and expensive.

How about "wheat balls?" They are super rad....
1/2 cup vital wheat gluten (look on a vegan website for how to prepare seitan)
Add whatever spices you like...I like fresh parsley, pepper, sage and nutmeg. Sautee in olive oil and add to pasta.
(I am bad with recipies because I never ever follow them completely...)

Try using Morning Star Grill Crumbles.

try chicken mince if you like chicken
