I dream about meat. I'm vegetarian. What does it mean?!
Answers: Did you recently become vegetarian? If so, it might be because you are spending a lot of time thinking about your recent diet change, and doing a lot of research. The things you think about a lot during the day tend to influence your dreams. So if you are still getting used to your meat free life, dreams of meat might be how your brain is dealing with the constant thoughts of "no meat, no meat, no meat." It's like when you have a significant other, and they treat you like junk and you break up--even though you know you personally are better off without that person, you still might dream about him/her for awhile because he/she is still on your mind, maybe even more so then when you were together. Think about it--when you ate meat, did you really ever think about meat? Now that you don't eat it, are you thinking about it more? That might be your answer.
either you are really hungry for meat
OR
you are grossed out subconsciencely
dont give in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It probably means you want to eat some meat?
Maybe your body is craving meat?
maybe you need protien.
nothing
means that meat is good for u and you should eat it....protiens are GOOD for u lol make u grow
Probably that you're curious about what it tastes like (if you grew up that way and have never tasted it). If you used to eat meat maybe you are craving it.
I don't think it means anything. If you have been considering eating meat again, it could just be on your mind therefore you dream about it. Don't give in! (fellow vegetarian)
Meat
To see raw meat in your dream, signifies that there will be many obstacles and discouragement in achieving your goals. Alternatively, it may reflect your untamed, animalistic nature and raw emotions.
To see cooked meat in you dream, denotes that you will see others obtain the object for which you have been striving for.
To dream that you are eating meat, signifies that you are getting to the heart of the matter.
To see rotten meat in your dream, suggests a degradation of your physical and psychological being. The dream may be a metaphor for some health problems.
It means your body is telling you it needs some GOOD FOOD......go buy a steak. You'll feel better for it.
It means to stay away. It is nothing but Satan telling you to eat meat.
Just Kidding. LOL!
But no, really stay away from meat. It is only a dream and nothing more to it.
It could be your taste buds. I have those craving for meat from time to time, but I rebuke it.
You are feeling the urge to stop being a vegetarian but you are still holding back. Is anybody pressing you to eat meat? If so, you are almost giving in. You might wonder what its like to not be a vegetarian.
It could be that your body is craving the nutrients in meat becuase you haven't provided an alternative source. Are you eating enough protein? If you aren't sure, get some blood work done at your doctor's office and schedule an appointment with a nutritionist.
I think it means that you want meat. or the meat wants you....
what i mean by that is maybe you haven't eaten meat in so long that now you're dreaming about it!
have you seen meat recently?
you probably like the taste of meat and since your a vege your dreaming about it. or your not getting enough protein and thats your body's way of telling you
It probally means your body wants or needs meat...And every one needs meat sometime.....But if you are a true vegetarian then dont give in.
Oh, it means you still like the taste of meat. I'm vegetarian for ages, but trust me, sometimes i still hallucinate taste of bloody meat in my mouth once in a few years...
Your subconscience is trying to tell you something. Maybe you really want to eat meat but don't want to give in. Or it could be you see meat alot perhaps on television or at restraunts and it bothers you so you dream about it.
Maybe Vegertarianism is a really big deal for you? Maybe your mind is so preoccupied with not eating meat, thats your subconcious bursts with thoughts about meat.
It could be something as simple as a craving, or something as complex as a situation in your life that your avoiding.
Dreams are confusing, try consulting a dream dictionary of a friend who knows alot about things like this.
Couple of things... have you always been a vegetarian? If no, then you may be craving the taste (comfort) of meat that you had growing up.
If you have always been a vegetarian, maybe the smells are starting to trigger something in your brain that wants meat.
Have you tried some of the Morningstar Farms bacon or sausages? That might help you with your cravings vs. your vegetarianism.
That happened to me once I've been a vegetarian for 5 weeks. I dreamed about eating at mcdonalds in about the 2nd week
Well, sometimes I want a hot dog really bad.
I think it's just cravings.
It means you want some meat! No seriously, you used to eat it right? I mean you were not a vegetarian since birth. This is a recently aquired diet change? Your cells(brain) remember meat, what it taste, smelled like. It could just be cell memory, people around you still eat meat that can cause thoughts of it. Make sure please you are getting enough protien in your diet. Find out what vegetarians can eat for protien. A cup of cooked legumes supplies one-third of the total daily requirements for protein for an adult male. Legumes however are an imcomplete protein by themselves & need assistance from amino acids to make up for the deficit. So they should be eaten along with grains, barley, bulgur wheat, pasta or small amounts of meat, fish, poultry, milk, or cheese. In your case you are a veg so omit meat & to make the legumes a complete protien eat bread with lefume soups or with rice or cheese. My fave is red beans(legumes) & rice. Hope this helps.
You need more fat and protein.
Eat more raw nuts and seeds, and more avocados and bananas.
I highly doubt it means anything. You were probably just thinking about food/meat before falling asleep. When we are sleeping our mind is still working. Often dreams are just things we have experienced during the day, thought about, seen on tv, etc. You could very well have seen a commercial for McDonald's and your brain is just organizing that thought.
It means you don't want to be a vegetarian.
