Odwalla Super Protein bars taste good and are fairly affordable (usually they are $1 - 1.50 per bar depending where you shop). They are vegan and their ingredients list is actually something you can comprehend, it doesn't read like some sort of pharmaceutical concoction.

You can also try making your own protein bars. I was inspired by Odwalla's Super Protein bar and I bought the ingredients it listed and made my own, they aren't quite like it but they sub in nicely, and it costs me less than 10 dollars for a huge batch. They store well too - I usually grab one or two before I go work out.

You can purchase Odwalla Super Protein bars anywhere from Super Target to Walmart Supercenters to Jewel-Osco / Albertson's. They are either in the health food / organic food aisles or by the protein/ energy bars.

Natures path organic power optium THERE SOOO GOOD
my favorites the blueberry flax

Read the labels carefully and don't eat anything soy-based.
I found the hemp and maca bars at Ruth's Hemp Foods to be very cost-effective... you can order several boxes for the same shipping cost.

Clifs bars are really good. I think most of them are vegan, but I know there are certain bars that are not, so be sure to read the label. They are available at the grocery stores in my small town, so they should be pretty easy to find.
