its not really about liking veggies, there are tons of things you can get like veggie burgers and even veggie dogs or sausage, the list goes on. A couple brands that i like best are Morning star and Boca. Great vegetarian things. If you do want a choice of something that tastes good even with vegetables though, you can make a stir fry. cut up some red, yellow, and green peppers and stir fry them with whatever kinds of sauces or spices you want, then just add them to some spaghetti noodles or something, its great and the veggies taste delicious, they dont even taste like vegetables, and you dont have to use peppers you can add something else to it, its your choice.

Well for starters...you should get the cook book La Dolce Vegan (even if you are vegetarian) because they have some AWESOME recipes that are easy and straight forward! They also offer some great ways to work with those veggies that you dont seem to like so much! Check it out!

Just start off with your favorite non-meat dishes and you can eat a little meat but slowly take it out of your diet then you can eat fake meats and things that you like or would like to try. You can try adding more flavor to the dish or eat more fruits and nuts and take multi-vitamins.

u don't just eat veggies. i am a vegetarian. you can eat pasta, bread, rice... you should eat beans or drink boost for protein.

My favourite vegan cookbook is The American Vegetarian Cookbook from the Fit for Life Kitchen by Marilyn Diamond (ISBN: 0446515612). It's probably not in print anymore but you'll find it on Abebooks for $2.82 (right now at least). It is filled with awesome recipes and a lot of information on nutrition. I think you might find that you prefer the vegeterian versions of the dishes better than the meat versions, such as their chile recipe and shepherd's pie.

Another way you could switch is to read about the meat industry - that should be enough to scare you. I haven't read the whole thing but Peter Singer has a book called Animal Liberation: A New Ethics for our Treatment of Animals or Diet for a New America by John Robbins (the heir of Baskin Robbins), which I have read. Those'll be enough to turn you off meat!

However, there is a very good article by Michael Pollan on why the Earth would not sustain an entirely vegetarian population and what we should do instead. I think everyone should read it. I am a vegetarian because I don't like meat, and so nothing's going to change my mind, but I can understand that many people will never change and perhaps should not change - if you read Dr. Mercola's site he gives a lot of evidence for why some people need to eat meat. You might want to check that out too.

Best wishes!

I'm a vegetarian and I don't like tofu fake meats and some soy and I'm fine. I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian though which is when you eat dairy and eggs which helps me get protein. I also eat a lot of nuts since being a vegetarian. I eat lots of fruits and vegetable and don't eat as much junk food.
