Rumors says that Salman & Sanjay Dutt may turn to be a vegetarian once their "jail"internment over (for the offense illegal hunting of deer, and terrorist link). Weird...just to please the deluded Public?
It is very common and tradition for Indians to become vegetarian, (and most of the Bollywood celebrities are vegetarian by nature. Meat eating is "unnatural" for them. (But I didn't say it's wrong!)
Bollywood top celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Madhavan are vegan. Other vegetarians are...John Abraham, Juhi Chawla, Esha Deol, Rahul Dev, Aditi Govritikar, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur, Aamir Khan, Manisha Koirala, Amrita Rao, Mallika Sherawat, Raveena Tandon, Ayesha Takia, Amitabh Bachchan and many more.

They take rebirth as your shoes, bags, gelatin capsules, surgery threads and many more forms you eat and drink everyday. Animal fats are used in soap and toilet industry.
Whether some one eat the cow or use it's by products, which include milk, curd and ghee, it is the same thing.

"Salmaan Khan" is a Muslim name. No Hindu would have a Muslim name. Whether he eats beef or not is up to him, but he would have no religious prohibition against it.
Even if he eats pig does it matter, why do you think he is muslim

Absolutely not.
I don't know but I've heard that its taste is much worse than that of even beef of buffaloes too. Buffalo beefs result loose motions for many.
Salman Khan is a very rich man . Why will he put aside the tastiest mutton of goats & take cow's beef unnecessarily, I fail to understand.
Most of Harijans in north India take beef of those cows who stop giving milk & are left on roads by owners to get rid of them.
