Are marshmellows vegan?!
Answers: I'm a veg n just decided to turn vegan. Are marshmellows vegan? Do they contain any of that animal gelatin/retin/other stuff? Where can I get vegan marshmellow in Australia (we dont have any vegan stores around here)???
their are vegan marshmallows on the market but I'm sorry to say they don't taste quite as good as the real thing. at least not the ones you can get in america. here is a link to a vegan store in australia that imports vegan marshmallows from new zealand
www.crueltyfreeshop.com.au.
marshmellows are usually made with gelatin
I would try the local health food store or co-op
check out the yellowpages.com.au
you might find something there
good luck
marshmallows generally are not vegan as most contain gelatin. sorry, don't know anything about aussie stores...good luck, though!
marshmellows are death.
In the US, Marshmallows typically contain gelatin. All major brands and most generic brands at your local supermarket contain Gelatin. This would make them not even vegetarian, much less vegan.
Try doing a google search for Vegan Marshmallows (watch the spelling - it's an "a", not an "e".) and see what you come up with. : )
mmm... melted marshmellows over the camp fire, chocolate and graham crackers, it is wonderful!
I've never seen one eating meat!
Sorry but no...marhsmallows are not vegan OR vegitarian because marshmallows contain a gelatin substance that comes from bone marrow found inside pig's feet.
well there made out of milk....
Sorry, but no. They have gelatin in them. You can probably get some gelatin-free ones at your local health food store though.
They are usually made with animal based gelatin.
no there normally made with gelatin
