For vegetarians and vegans: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard a meateater say?!
Answers: As you all probably know, we veggies encounter all sorts of comments and arguments from meateaters. Sometimes the comments are well-meaning but erroneous, whereas some others are downright obnoxious. We sometimes even get some comments and arguments that are laugh-out-loud funny! I recently had an er...INTERESTING discussion with one of my managers at work. First of all, I would like to say that she wasn't being in any way obnoxious and she wasn't trying to sway my opinion. We were discussing my reasons for being a vegetarian at work one day. Since I'm a vegetarian for ethical reasons, my boss decided to argue that fish weren't animals! LMAO! I then argued that indeed they were. She then argued that they didn't reproduce like we did, so they didn't count! (Where she was trying to go with this, I don't know!) I then argued that some fish were indeed live bearers (like us) and that some laid eggs. She then argued that no fish got pregnant and that they all laid eggs. Unfortunately,

I respect other people have their own opinions but at least come up with a good arguement!
Once I heard one say that meat tastes really good and that the protein from meat is good for you. I just laughed and went outside and hugged the first tree I saw.

LOL, I guess all the moms that breastfed their babies should still be pumping milk, or we will explode! It's hilarious... what did cows do thousands upon thousands of years ago, BEFORE man started to take their milk? I guess they were just ticking time bombs... exploding everywhere, getting horribly sick because someone wasn't milking them... I'm laughing thinking about it.
Same goes for "cows need to be milked, it is so painful if they don't". Um, most mammals need to stop lactating at some point, it's weird to lactate until you're almost a grandmother and then get killed, of course, since you're no longer profitable and can't make milk.
Plants have feelings too! - and i was plant killer! - which made me just as guilty as an animal killer!

One lady that was eating really tasteless food was telling me that I was missing out on good tasty meat! - the thing is I am Indian, and my food has so many varities of taste.
If we weren't meant to eat animals, they wouldn't taste so good!

It's funny when they think that their attacks can reach us through an internet forum or even reach our level at all.
