Has anyone ever had pig trotter, if so what do you think of it?!
Answers: I remember eating them when I was a kid they are so good they never lasted very long though, because myself and my family loved em.
Do you not think it is slightly immature and disrespectful posting in vegetarian & vegan category.. Is it supposed to be amusing? Well if it is meant to be then you haven't achieved what you wanted.
Tasty treats the piggys feet....
Ughhh... Everyone in my family ate those, except me and my sister. Sorry, I just found something I'm not open-minded about.
yes, I can say that there was a time when I did. Not impressive by any means.
um, if this is the veg category, why would you assume anyone had eaten these who is reading this category?
yes in many ways.. i will spare the vegos the gory details of what it is but enjoyed cooked in a variety of ways. My favorites are :traditronal pickled with sauerkraut, braised with plantains, banana flowers and soy sauce/brown sugar/garlic/black pepper then served with rice (Asian), boiled then de-boned then baked with black truffle jus reduction (had it once in New York) and lastly deep fried with horseradish cream and mashed potatoes,, Can't indulge in it too much though because it's really a heart atack on a plate
Yeah, I love them pickled in Souse, which is a dish made up of pork meat in a "sauce" made with lime juice, water, chopped cucumber, bell peppers, onion, parsley and lots of scotch bonnet pepper.
What has this got to do with vegetarians and vegans?
I assume you are just trying to wind people up, troll elsewhere.
By reading the other answers I get the feeling that its pigs feet.
My dad used to eat them pickled when I was a kid. I didn't like them, though.
I bet my grandad had them though, since he made head cheese out of the head.
What is it?
I'd never eat one myself, but I buy roast ones for my two dogs sometimes and they love them.
