Answers: are people makeing a difference like peta and other things like that are they helping to stop the fur trade and other things like that i just wached a video on youtube and it was so sad please no mean comments
Just know that there are people working very hard to end things like that, some of them give up their freedoms to save animals. Every little thing you can do to help makes a difference, no matter how small it is.
You can find the full starfish story that the first person posted on the internet, just type in starfish story and you should find it. It is a good one:)
I don't know what video you saw but if it was about the dog and cat fur trade then there is a group called Animals of Asia who are working very hard with China and the Philippines to end things like that in those places.
A man was walking along the beach one day and saw a young boy off in the distance, throwing things into the water with great intensity, as the man walked closer, he could see how diligently the boy worked, almost without pause. As the man neared, he realized the boy was throwing starfish that had been left with the receding tide. There were many thousands on the beach. The man said to the boy, "there are thousands of starfish here, you can't possibly save them all." The boy replied, as he threw back another, " I saved that one, and that one, and that one. " So while no one can save everything, it matters what each of us save.
I know what you mean. Its so depressing some times. Those videos and photos just make me wana cry. =0( Unfortunately thats what it takes to reach some people. I guess in the end thats really whats happening every where and all PETA n these groups r just reporting the truth. Even if they convert one person I guess thats a difference.
PS. Sandy thats such a great story.
Save the star fish.... YAY!!!
Anyone that follows what they believe make a difference.
Leonardo DaVinci:
"I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men." DaVinci claimed that flesh eaters were using their bodies as "grave yards."
Thomas A Edison, 1847-1931:
"The Doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease."
