Answers: its too thick!! and the color is not even white! its like brownish :S

There are many different brands and flavors of soymilk, all of which taste different. You should try a few different brands before you judge all soymilks.

There are many brands which I do not like. I had to try about 4 before I found one that I liked the flavor and texture. I personally like 8th continent vanilla, it is not thick and the vanilla taste is mild.

I like it

I don't think it's thick but it probably doesn't
fit your taste buds.

There are many different brands of soy milk. Some are better than others. I like Silk Vanilla.

you probably got the chocolate flavored one....

and you're probably used to regular milk, you know, the one with pus and blood mixed in

Well you have to get used to it. I didnt like Chocolate silk the first time but now i love it! Silk is the best-I want to try banana!

I like it especially chocolate

... and how! sucks, doesn't it?

Depends upon the brand that you buy as to the problem with the color. In the United States, I have found that Silk is white - just like milk.

As to it being thick - that is a new one for me since most people complain that it is too thin compared to 'regular milk'. Are you sure that you didn't get hold of some expired soy milk??

I don't like it either. I only drank the flavored stuff which masked the original flavor. Try rice milk. That's what did it for me. The vanilla rice milk actually makes me sick. The plain is the only milk sub I drink now.

After drinking only rice milk for awhile I tried cream in my coffee just for fun and it tasted funny.

Which brand did you try? I'm a very picky eater, and the only soymilks I like are:

-Silk Plus Omega 3 DHA
-Silk Mocha
-Vitasoy chocolate peppermint

Soymilk varies, depending on the brand, so I would try some of the Silk flavors. Good luck.

LOL. I was the same way. You have to acquire a taste for it. I started out eating soy foods, such as tofu, etc. and just drank Horizon organic milk. Then I got used to the taste of soy in my diet and when I tried Silk again it was no problem. I still have to choke down a plain glass of it, but in cereal and such it is just fine. You may also try rice milk. Honestly, it tastes like liquid rice. Again, it is ok in cereal, but a plain glass is a little difficult. But I promise, your taste buds do get used to new flavors if you are diligent.

Then try a different one. They aren't all created equal. Or, how about this.. don't drink it.

I prefer rice milk anyway.

soy milk isnt all that bad.. you should try the brand 8th continent.. its really good but if yu still dnt like the taste yu can be like me and try Rice Dream.. it has not taste its wonderful.. you would think you're drinkin regular milk but its tottally healthy

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Soy milk is not thick at all.
First time I drank it I though it was thin but it was good.
I think you are drinking chocolate soy milk.
Try reading the carton.

Nesquick chocolate mix thing is suppose to be vegan.
you could try that to make it taste better.

Could be the brand you bought but soymilk definitely isn't everyone's cuppa tea. Good on you for trying matey, have a shop around for other milk alternatives you might like such as almond milk or a different brand of soy.

These milks and animal product alternatives were never intended to be carbon copies of the 'real' deal, just enjoyable substitutes.

Your taste adapts, too. :-)

Depends which brand and flavor you drink.Costco has there own brand which tastes good.Silk Soymilk is delicious too.I have bought some soymilk at a chinese store with some chinese writing on it.Sorry to say but that kind was nasty.Theres a variety to choose from.

Could be the brand. And soymilk shouldn't be really thick. Do try another brand and use the one you bought for cooking and baking. I never drink soymilk anyway, but when I did, I liked Chocolate Silk best.
