Watch Earthlings, and remember it is bad for your health.

maybe look at the ingredients before you eat something. Or keep a food log. You should take it slowly and not try to just suddenly become a vegetarian, but begin with eating vegatables and fruits and reminding yourself that this is your goal and you will acheive it! hope i helped!

stock up with quorn, frozen veg and tofu and put it at the top of the freezer.
make a shopping list so that you can think about it and stick to the list while shopping.
look up some vegetarian food places also so when your going out to eat they're jump out in your mind.

EDIT
Jezebel has a good point

well, I've found that if you load up on the good foods, you'll be less inclined to indulge in the bad foods. Myself, I have congestion problems if I consume meat or dairy products. This has happened as I've gotten older, so I've found it easy to cut back - and now completely eliminate - animal products from my diet.

Try keeping a food tracker.

Just get some type of spiral or journal and keep with you, so that you're constantly reminded to write the food you eat in it, so you'll also remember that the whole reason you have it is to make sure you're not eating meat and you're eating enough.

This also helps make sure that you have the proper nutrient supply.

Put the fork down.

You don't "forget" that you're eating meat. You just want to eat meat more than you want to be vegetarian.

You should think about WHY you want to be vegetarian, and weigh that against your desire to eat meat and decide which one is more worth it to you.

Throw out all of the meat/meat products in your house. (Only if you live alone that is.) If you live with omnivores, stock up on meat subs and write notes on the fridge.

You have to start by asking yourself why you want to become a vegetarian in the first place. If it is because you do not like eating animals because you think they have souls too (or something to that effect) then you should try and picture the animal as it was when it was alive. Usually that gets people who feel this way to think twice about eating meat. It personifies the animal and makes you think that you are the reason they keep getting slaughtered for food and other products. Now, if it is for health reasons, that will be a little more difficult. Everyone has problems eating healthy, because face it, health food and things that are healthy for you definitely do not taste as good as the things that are not so good for you (i.e. chocolate cake tastes a lot better than a rice cake does). So, like any other diet, it comes down to will power. What you should do is sit down and plan your meals out for the day or even for the week. Go to the store (on a full stomach by the way, that way you won't buy a bunch of stuff that looks good or buy a whole bunch of stuff in general) and buy all of the things you need for the day or week, and get rid of or give away all the bad stuff you have in your house. Of course this will involve not eating out at restaurants or other places as much or not eating out at all. This way you know what you are going to eat beforehand and you can control what you eat before you eat it. This will reduce impulsiveness on your part as well. If you go somewhere to eat, you might just look at the menu and go, "Ok, that steak looks good, I'll have that." Instead, now you have a plan, and you don't really have a choice what to eat because you made it days in advance. You also need to put whatever your motivation for becoming a vegetarian is right in front of you at all times. If you are trying to look like a male model or something, put a picture of one on the refrigerator (you might want to label it or something so people don't get the wrong idea about your sexual preference). If you are trying to impress a girl, put her picture up somewhere. Then, look at the picture or whatever it is all the time. Think "I am going to do this." that way you will stay motivated and do what you need to do to get to your goal.

i think believe in religious striakly and try to avoid eat non veg food.

um... i have been a vegetarian for a while now. what helps me is just to think about where the meat comes from. it helps me to realize that i dont want an animal inside of me. also, i try to not expose myself to the smell of cooking meat.
hope this helps :)

Write on a piece of paper and put it in the fridge, right by the handle...DON'T EAT MEAT! Or, write them on the boxes/bags of food in the fridge.

If you are a teen living with your parents, have them help you as well. =]

why raw meat is theBEST

try not to eat out. And just keep all vegetarian foods in your household. If you only buy healthy food. You won't have a problem not eating meat products.
