Is wheat vegan?!

Question: like wheat flour, whole wheat bread, ect...

Answers: like wheat flour, whole wheat bread, ect...

Wheat in itself is vegan, but the other ingredients in the bread might not be - dairy and egg products might sneak in to some types of bread, and I've seen honey in wheat bread to sweeten it. Read ingredients lists to be sure.

Here is a list of non-vegan food ingredients:

YES

Of course wheat is vegan - it's a plant. But like Maggie said, the other ingredients in any given product may or may not be vegan. It's not all that easy to find whole wheat bread without honey, for example.

Wheat itself is vegan. But, certain foods such as (wheat) bread, flour, etc may contain animal products.

Wheat is a domesticated grass from the Levant that is cultivated worldwide.

Vegan food includes no products from animals.

It's not an animal product, is it?

Wheat itself is,but in some bread there can be traces of dairy.
