Did this statement affected only the UK or are the bars veg friendly of which after these best before dates? My overall question is Are snickers, and other bars on this list vegetarian friendly to this day????

Some people think that eating dairy is not being a vegetarian, but that's vegan. I don't see why they would put meat in a candy bar, but recently Frito lays put beef in a chip and called it X-13 or something. If your looking for a non meat candy bar, then your ok with snickers, but if your looking for a vegan candy bar, good luck.
Well, they are not vegan.
It's possible that they also have some kind of animal fat. They might have gelatin although I dont know why they would.
The company might make something with animal products. It could even be the wrapper. You never know...
I think the fluffy stuff has gelatin in it.
If you eat dairy and eggs you'll be alright with some.
You need to read all the ingredients, some have gelatin (boiled bone and tendons).
There are so many products that contain animal products, it's incredible really. Just look up an ingredient if you aren't sure what it is. Good luck fellow veg!
It says that the candy bars with expiration dates that match these or go beyond these are vegetarian. One can assume the one's preceding those dates aren't. It's not rocket science.
It depends on the expiration date on the individual candies.
The Mars company tests on animals.
