Is there a name for a person that only eats chicken and fish?!

Question: Thanks!

Please don't tell me stuff like I am not a "real" vegetarian!

I know there is a name for one. I think.

Thank you again.

Ovo-Lacto Vegetarians don't eat animals (including birds and fish) but they do consume dairy products and free-range eggs.

Ovo-Vegetarians eat eggs but don't consume animals and dairy products.

Lacto-Vegetarians consume dairy products but don't eat animals and eggs.

Pescetarians eat fish and all the above (though I'm not sure what anyone's position is regarding caviar).

Vegans eat nothing that is animal-derived—so no eggs for breakfast, no caviar with the champagne, or milk with cookies.

So my guess is that if the only thing you do not eat is red meat, then you'd be an…

Ovo-Lacto-Avi-Pescetarian ('Avi' coming from the Latin for 'bird': 'avis').

Bon appetit!

picky!

protien muncher?

A white meat eater, other than that I don't know.

iddy

I know you said not to tell you, but it really is true that you're not a vegetarian. You would be an omnivore, assuming that you do eat some sort of plant matter. There is a new term, flexitarian, but it really hasn't caught on yet. Those are people who can take or leave meat, but mostly leave it.

picky & boring

Omnivore.

Doesn't look like you fit any of the definitions.

There isn't a name. Its definitely not "Vegetarian". You're just someone that doesn't eat red meat. Don't worry about it.

you're a non red meat eater. and thats it. you cannot be a vegetarian if you eat any animals and that includes chickens and fish. but everyone can do their own thing. eat whatever makes you happy. you dont need a label.

"I don't eat red meat", aka a picky omnivore.

Why do you want a label? There isn't a special one for vegetarians who don't like eggplant.

I don't think so.

When I ate meat, I didn't eat eggplant or endive, but that didn't mean I had a special name. Usually special dietary terms only reflect specific subcultures - i.e. kosher for a set of religious dietary rules, or vegetarianism for those who reject all meat for primarily ethical reasons. Rejecting a few kinds of food doesn't really put you into any special category - everyone has a few foods they avoid eating.

Meat is murder, chicken and fish are meat.

no

If you only ate fish, you would be a pesectarian.

You would be an omnivore that doesn't eat red meat.

If you ate ONLY fish as your meat source, then you'd be a pesectarian or something like that.

If you ate only eggs, and dairy as your protein sources, then you'd be an ovo-lacto vegetarian.

If you ate NO animal products whatsoever, then you'd be a vegan.

If you eat no meat, then you'd be a vegetarian.

Flexitarian, just google it.

There is no name for a person that cuts out red meat. If you eat meat you are an omnivore, if not than you are a vegetarian. It would be like a person who doesn't like leafy green vegetables trying to have a name for that.

It is far easier to tell people, "I do not eat red meat", than trying to find a made up term that no one understands and having to state at the end of an explanation anyway, that you don't eat red meat.

Carniverous.

Of course you're not a vegetarian if you eat dead birds and dead fish. You're an omnivore like everyone else.

Like it or not you aren't a vegetarian of any kind. I know someone will come along and give you a made word that actually makes no sense since by definition vegetarians don't eat meat and both chicken & fish are meat. You will then think that everyone else who didn't agree with that made up word are stupid, but we're not stupid, we're right. There is no special name for you.

It could be called either "semi-vegetarian", or in the US "flexitarian".

well, not that i know of...they just eat white meat! maybe white meat eaters. nahh jk. umm im not sure. xox

You eat dairy, fruits, vegetables seafood, fish (I presume that you eat non-white fish like Salmon etc) you also eat white meat. What you are saying is that you eat pretty much everything you are able to eat with the exception of red meats.
To me that just makes you a person who doesnt eat red meat. You definately arent a vegetarian tho
If you wanted to put a label on yourself, I would choose 'faddy'

There is no name for someone who only eats chicken and fish.

Also, you will die if you only eat chicken and fish.

You need to eat some vegetables, cereals and fruit.

A fussy eater.

The best answer I have heard for this question is "half-vegetarian".

Many vegetarians/vegans may have a fit about calling it vegetarianism when you plainly eat animal-based protein.

If you choose to not offend anyone, then I would go with, "I don't eat red meat."

Chickish

Yes of course there is. Strange. People who are not happy with themselves. People who need to talk to someone who can help them with their problems. We're omnivores. Get a life.

The Creator gave certain animals and fish for humans to eat. If you wish to turn down The Creators' gift of meat that's your perogative.
