Ever had the veggie burger at Ruby Tuesday's? Did you like it?!

Question: its vegan!!! and one of the few vegan veggie burgers you'll find in restaurants!!!....

but unfortunetly, it tastes pretty horrendous, well not really, it doesn't really taste at all to tell the truth, incredibly bland and incredibly huge. its noticable how bland it is because its a few giant mouthfulls. It honestly is like eating straight up wheat. I still order it and get excited everytime i go to ruby tuesdays, but honestly it is one of the worst tasting veggie burgers out there in chain restaurants.

I reccommend that Guiltless Black Bean Burger at Chilis, if you are going to a chain restaurant, looking for a veggie burger and are a vegan.

If you are vegetarian i'd recommend getting something else "vegetarian" off the menu at ruby tuesdays.

goto www.chilis.com and look under allergen info if you don't believe that it is vegan.

I had it and HATED it. It was really really thick and reminded me of the cube steaks my father used to cook when I was a kid. The taste wasn't that great, actually rather bland. Not my kind of veggie burger!

No, and after that last review, I never will! LOL

I absolutely despise Ruby Tuesday's and everything they make, BUT I have to say, for a chain restaurant veggie burger, it wasn't terrible. A little thick for my taste, but I cut it in half... I mean I could pick it apart: yeah it was sort of bland, but really, I've had much much worse. If you're stuck at RT, it's an OK dish to have, as they really don't have much for vegetarians that is preferable.

I like it very much.. I believe it is a morning star Farm's "garden Burger"

It's all right. I swear they used to be better, or maybe my tastes have just changed. I still get one whenever I go. Their fries are great. :D

To the other poster that mentioned the black bean burger at Chili's for vegans... it's not vegan.

I have had it twice at two different locations.

At the one location I really loved it - the other it tasted totaly NASTY.

My suggestion - evidently it depends upon who is doing the cooking at the location that you are at as to how 'good' it is going to be.

One time I ate at ruby tuesdays, I was going to try the veggie burger. I did not, however, decide to order that and I am now very glad I didn't judging by the other replies. I guess the waiter was just full of it, he told me it was delicious.

The salad bar is good, though.

I've had it a few times, but hear they change it from time to time so it may not be the same as the ones the others have had. My husband and I both order it and both like it. It is a bit thick, but we thought it had a nice flavor and texture.

I had it once, and it was disgusting. Not even a slathering of ketchup and mustard could save it. My vegetarian boyfriend is one of the most easy-to-please diners out there, and if he hated it, I should have known it would be an assault on my fussier palate. But unless you want the slim pickings on the crummy salad bar, there are no other vegetarian--much less vegan--options at Ruby Tuesday's. I suggest you avoid going there if at all possible.
