I just found a seed in my nave orange how is that possible??!


Question: i just bought a bag of navel oranges at the store. and a little bit ago i ate one, got half way through and found a seed in it . i know navel's are sterile so how is that possible?
wondering if anyone has ever heard of anything like that

To get a seedless fruit, they take the plant with the least seeds and reproduce it. This means it is highly possible that there are still seeds in seedless fruits.

happens all the time. might be a mutation.

Nature will always attempt to return to its original state. Life always tries to create more life. Watch the grass grow through the concrete, for example.

I think Jeff Goldblum or another actor said it best in the original "Jurassic Park" - nature will find a way...
