Are protein bars vegetarian?!
Answers: and if not all, are some? which ones?
Depends on the bar. Most are vegetarian, and a few are vegan. I'm a fan of Luna bars which are vegan and delicious, especially if you are craving chocolate (try the chocolate raspberry, mmm...). I'm also loving raw food bars, which are usually vegan - Raw Revolution and Active X are great and come in a variety of flavors. If you're looking for protein on the go, try some Silk soy smoothies, yogurts, and milk, all come in nice little packages that fit in your purse or backpack. You can also pack a nice trail mix with nuts & seeds, or make your own smoothie using silken tofu and fresh fruit.
There are heaps of different types of protein bars, you should read the ingredients b4 u buy it. Check for gluten. Thats what missed when I first went veg.
Read ingredients, typically they are made with whey protein (which is from dairy) and soy protein. The only thing that might not be vegetarian is what it is fortified with, colored with, flavored with or otherwise altered with... if you don't mind dairy you should be alright.
Gluten isn't related to a vegetarian diet, but some people suggest that a gluten-free diet is healthier than a standard diet. Gluten is entirely plant sourced, it's pretty much a type of protein in some grains that can cause serious reactions in individuals with Celiac's disease. A gluten-free diet has also been suggested and implicated into the treatment of autism.
Some are. I know the odwalla bars are.

Yes. Pretty much.
But not all of them are vegan.
Very few are (here at least)
Luna bars are and they're great!! They're even 70% organic and have all vitamins you need.
Read the labels. I personally have never seen a "meat" product in Pro Bars.. Dairy, Yes but not a animal flesh product.
Gluten ~ If you are not allergic then it is fine. I speak from experience when I say it is very hard to find a gluten free bar.
Gluten allergies are more common than they use to think they were.
