Is there such thing as veggie orange chicken?!

Question: is there such thing as veggie orange chicken?

Answers: is there such thing as veggie orange chicken?

There are places that serve such an item, yes.

It's important to know that they do not use real chicken in it. It is a meat substitute. Usually "seitan."

I love "Veggie Mongolian Beef" at my local Chinese place.

YUM!

No but you can use a vegetarian substitute instead. In fact I've just asked the local Chinese restaurant to make me fried bean curd and to put the orange sauce over it... just as good, with a side of rice.

Try having a look at the quorn brand at a super market , and if you don't eat chicken yey !! i think it's cruel to eat chicken's

Yes. The orange glaze is a sauce. You can put it on anything you want. You can put it on a chicken imitation and have vegetarian-friendly orange "chicken."

Sure. Just use faux chicken and substitue for any other non-vegetarian ingredients like you would with any recipe.

Yes, but it depends on where you live.

Where do you live?

I wouldn't think so. You could make your own version, using quorn, but I doubt you'd get a veggie version if eating out.

Nice try, but you cant sneak a chicken into a veggie diet even if it is disguised as an orange, If your a veggie, chicken is a NO NO !!!!

I know my local chinese restaurant has it! Look up an orange chicken recipe online, and what you'll do is substitute tofu for the chicken. If you go to your local asian market, they should have this tofu that I believe is fried, it looks different from regular tofu, it's a light brown color and it's often cut in triangles. That's what they use at the restaurant near me.

Chicken = Meat
Veggie = Vegetable
Orange = Fruit or color

and none of the twixt shall meet or meat or whatever.
