Websites..?!

Question: I'm doing a multigenre research project in Englich class on Vegetarian / Veganism and I need RELIABLE websites for sources.
I have to be able to prove their reliable also. I'll look this topic up on google or yahoo and I get pretty much the same things everytime.

So far the resources I have are:
http://www.goveg.com
http://www.chooseveg.com
http://www.peta.com
http://www.peta2.com

Do you know of any other good / reliable websites?
Sites with statistics are helpfull too.

Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks. (:

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine:

American Dietetic Association:

Vegan Outreach has a well-cited introduction to veganism:

Hope this helps and good luck with your project!

It depends what level of schooling you are in.
For my freshman year of undergrad I referenced peta.org website as a source and the teacher didn't take to kindly towards it.

I'd reccommend searching databases. Your local library probably subscribes to a few of these (infotrac, gale, CQ). If not I'd imagine your school does (i know colleges do, i'm not sure if highschools do.) If it is a paper for highschool I'm sure those websites should work. ALso try. http://www.veganoutreach.com information from that site is a bit more thorough than peta. But it is strictly on veganism.

Good Luck.
and thanks for doing your report on that subject.

Try this one about flexitarianism:

I'm sorry to inform you that in the food industry, there's no such thing as a reliable website. The food industry is one of the largest in the world and every single aspect of it is controlled by lobbyists who fund various websites and the research these websites proclaim as truth. Every gov't agency is owned by lobbyists and every private entity has an agenda as well. The goal? $$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Besides that, PETA is a horrible source for anything. The hypocrisy that exudes from that organization stinks from here to heaven.

Even worse than PETA is Flex up there. That's a troll who's agenda is to encourage eating meat and to ridicule those that don't.
