Best dairy free milk subsitute please except soya..must be able to put in tea?!
Answers: i hate soya what else can i put in my tea please as hate it black thanks xx
rice and oat milk is available in supermakets. Often you will find it near the "free from" type products suitable for ceoliacs.
Until its opened, it does not need to be cooled so will not be in with the milk - its often in square cardboard drinks containers in 1 litre ( 2 pint ) packs.
You can also buy machines to make your own if you can't buy the ready made "milk" locally.
I think rice is better, its not as "creamy" as soya
Try rice milk.....
almond milk is available, and if you're lucky, you may be able to find hemp milk.
i really like rice milk too and the vanilla one is really nice in hot chocolate and it makes yummy porridge x
Hemp, almond & rice are all great, but they do not have the same nutrients as soy milk does. How can you not love soy milk? Have you tried Silk? It's great.
Some other milk alternatives:

if you hate soya and cows milk i suggest goats milk if not get a can of evaporated milk and put some of that in if you think its to rich still buy the can and dilute it with 2 pints of cold water and mix then add it to you tea.
I absolutely love rice milk. Try Oat milk too and if you have not tried it, try goats milk. Enjoy x
Are you lactose intolerant? (meaning you have issues digesting dairy products (bloating, diarrhea, gas, constipation), if so, you can buy lactose free milk in almost all supermarkets. It taste exactly the same as regular milk
I love rice milk. When I did drink milk (and I never liked cows milk) I drank skin, I find it is very close to that. I've used it in my tea, I bake with it....
If you are drinking a standard black tea you can consider the standard milk replacements such as rice or almond milk.
Others you can consider are coconut milk or banana milk.
This page has recipes for making vegan non-soy milk replacements:

Enjoy!
There is a product called Zero Lactose that sells milk without lactose. Maybe you could use that? Depends on why yr avoiding milk. Otherwise there is rice milk, almond milk, hazelnut milk etc. Go to a health food store and check out what there is, staff are usually helpful and well informed.
rice and oat milk i think that there are others too best place to go to is your local health food shop and ask one of the assistants as i am sure they would only be too pleased to help you with this
Almond milk is great
there's Oat milk but I'd suggest Almond, it tastes better!

Experiment the different brands to find one with a taste you like. Oat milk has a mild, slightly sweet flavour but I like Kallo's rice drink best. Rice milk is usually available at supermarkets but you may have to look in Health Food Shops for the other alternatives. Try Holland & Barretts, or shop online at Goodness Direct.
You could also try making your own milk at home if you wanted. Here are some recipes:

Happy tasting!
Try rice milk, oat milk or almond milk. Almond milk is really nice.
I am dairy free as well and I make my own almond milk for my tea. It is delicious and also works well in smoothies.
Almond Milk
2 cups almonds
4 cups water
1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
1. Soak almonds and vanilla bean overnight
2. Discard soaking water and rinse almonds in a deep bowl of water, repeat until water is clear
3. Place soaked almonds, vanilla bean and 4 cups of water in blender
4. Blend on highest speed for 90 seconds
5. Strain milk through cheesecloth or a fine mesh paint strainer bag, discarding solids
6. Serve
Hope this helps. For more dairy-free recipes you can check out this site:
