Silken tofu, rice milk, frozen strawberries and banana Oh gawd (I can't remember what a milkshake tastes like, but this is heaven, and I drink it in the morning)

I love cut up tofu mixed with hossein sauce and baked in the oven until the sauce is reduced and sticky.

Also good as sweet and sour (I don't have the measurements because I do it to taste....)
add
Ketchup, white vinegar and brown sugar
Throw it in a pan with chopped tofu and fry until it reduces and becomes sticky.

I also like to fry it with garlic, ginger and soya sauce.

Breaded and panned fried is great too (I dip my slice of tofu in soy milk, then dip it in breadcrumbs mixed with herbs and garlic powder.) The you add a spaghetti sauce and vegan cheese and it become tofu Parmesan. (without the Parmesan, unless I get the vegan stuff)

Stir fry with with veggies, tofu and peanut sauce is yummy.
(Peanut butter, olive oil, soya sauce and water, mix well and add it at the end.

experimenting is key.

I enjoyed using these links and gave me great ideas. I have tried a few. Kids seemed to enjoy them.

EDIT: I had to take the time to search the recipes that we have tried. So here they are...>>> http://www.fatfree.com/recipes/tofu/garl...

I'm not really a fan of soft tofu, so I like it broiled best because you can get it nice and crispy without frying. It's also fast and easy. This is how I usually make it:

Broiled Tofu

Drain and press frozen extra firm tofu (NOT silken), then cut into cubes. Mix 3-4 tbsp olive or canola oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1/2 tsp each of garlic and onion powder. Dip the tofu cubes into the mixture or pour the mixture over the tofu and stir. Place tofu onto a non-stick baking sheet. Put in oven on high broil for 5-10 minutes or until the outside of the tofu is brown and slightly crispy.

Many ways!
Baked, fried, sauteed, etc
Desserts: Get silken tofu and put it in cheesecakes, etc.

Terriaki Tofu
cube the tofu and and brown it in a little bit of olive oil then right as it starts to turn golden add soy sauce and terryaki sauce

i add pineapple and usually eat it over rice

sorry i can't help you

Tofu is never raw.

Part of the process involves heating the soy at high temperatures.

It is bet deep fried AND THEN simmered in Asian sauces.

They have been using it for thousands of years, they know how it's done.

i have tried many recipes listed above, however last night i discovered a way to make tofu for taco night that is amazing

get some firm or extra firm tofu (pressing it is optional, i didnt, didnt have time)

then crumble it so it roughly looks like ground beef

toss with taco seasoning

heat a skillet with a little oil and cook the tofu like you would beef for tacos

have on a taco or burrito or just straight with some taco sauce
