gelatin, cochineal, carmine, whey, casein, lactose, shellac, tallow, lard...

Camilla; most of us do more for humanity than you ever will. How can you despise someone who tries to lessen the suffering of others?

Lard, gelatin, rennet, and cheese (can be made with rennet).

It takes a lot to get me to post something from that sham organization PETA, but they do have a comprehensive list of animal ingredients:

You have to read the labels and look out for individual ingredients.

okay, if you do not mind a strong language. go buy the book skinny bi!ch, it has all the ingredients. they also talk about where you can buy the foods and its really cool to read it!

but only get it if you do not mind the f- words.

Me personally, haha they are just words! its cool!

I love being a vegetarioan , "Say no to grease "

careful of geletin, many are pork or beef based - look at the back of a Haribo packet - no more jellies. Rennet in cheese, although many cheddars and brie are vegetarian and will say so on the packet. However, parmesan contains rennet too!

Oh, would some of you veggies get a life, I am appalled with the poverty in this world that you impose this regime on yourself and make life difficult with whoever tries to feed you.
Do some charity work and get over it.

congratulations on your vegetarianism!
and for the person who thinks we're just trying to be difficult and selfish by being vegetarian, hows that cow/hen/pig tasting? bet it had a good life. im happy to see youre doing your part for the world...
