Am I the only one who thinks eating cloned meat is absolutely repulsive?!
Yuckk.
Answers: It disgusts me to even think about eating a cloned animal.

Well eating any kind of meat is disgusting to me but yes, I find cloned meat absolutely repulsive! When I heard about how KFC is cloning headless, feetless chickens-I puked. Other companies are cloning animals to grow without certain body parts that "get in the way" and "arent edible anyway". There's something very wrong with society.
no, i totally agree
A clone is exactly the same genetically as the original therefore no worse for you. You should worry more about chemicals in food and antibiotics given to animals before they are slaughtered to be eaten.
It makes me think what else are they cloning out there, and if there was a possibility that they were cloning long before it was even talked about in the media. Its just something we will never have control over, and you just gotta be careful about how you choose your food.
Nope, but i think eating any meat whatsoever is absolutely repulsive ^^
Cloning is EXACTLY like the original, so what do you have against it? (other than the usual moral ideas.)
no. i hate all animal corpses, but clones are no weirder...
I have mixed feelings, though I am accepting the fact that we are doing all sorts of horrible things in our society, that it doesn't matter any more.
Did you know meats in grocery stores are blasted with carbon monoxide before they are packed, to make the meat look fresh, red and bloody, and to make it last longer?
I really don't see the deal with cloned meat. They are simply taking the good DNA for a highly prized cow with desirable features and creating a cow with that DNA. Meat producers have been inbreeding animals for years to create animals with desired meats, so I am not as concerned. As long as I don't ingest drugs, steroids, pathogens or harmful bacterias, it's all good.
I mean seriously, most major cities have brown, visible air, we are running out of clean water, the dollar is seriously down in the world because our government has made poor choices in the rest of the world, we have cut funding to education to provide for a war and peoples' lives we destroyed under the guise of terrorism, yet we still have tons of terrorism in our own country - rapes, gangs, drug dealers, car jacking, burglary, etc.. Health care is super expensive, human trafficking is on the rise, and people still lack apathy for solving any of these social problems.
For me, cloned meat is fairly low on the totem pole of worries, kind of down there with "when I have kids, should I decorate their room for a baby or do a design that will grow with them," and "I wonder if that guy in the elevator noticed that I farted."
Ew.
Humans shouldn't even be messing with things like that. Things were made how they were supposed to.
I don't see any difference between cloned and original.
I am a vegan gal, so I really don't give a hoot! - Not my problem,, nor my karma, or not my medical bills!
Meat eaters eat what you want!
I am waiting for the meat grown in the lab, cause i think less animals will be tortured!
I'm down with it. But I don't really have issues with Meat and the Meat industry everyone else does. I know it's a horrible way of having meat delivered, but it's kinda how we live, so I am used to it.
no i think it is the stupidist thing they have done w/ meat yet!!!!
I'm the same way.
I mean, it must taste the same, but it still gives me the
heeby-jeebies!
My mind just can't get over the fact, that it's CLONED!!!
My mom is trying to introduce us to new foods for when this time comes.
=D
Enjoy the meat now!
GOOD LUCK!!!
No, but you might be eating it all of the time. The only time i ever really agree with " non-natural" cloning is when an animal is endangered and not used for food. But it should be kept at a natural pace so it really doesn't disgust me but it isn't really healthy or anything like that to me either.
lol i think its disgusting to eat cloned meat and regular meat, lol.
Don't see what difference it makes.
It makes me wonder what kind of things are you really eating?
I bake my own bread & grow my own vegetables, terrifed to eat anything thats not home grown.
If you are a vegetarian already, then you don't eat meat anyway. So why would a cloned animal for food make any differnce to you since yo don't eat meat to begin with, cloned or uncloned? Sorry but cloning animals for food is not economically viable so it is not being done yet . Therefore I find it difficult to get repulsed by something that does not exist
I agree 100%
All meat I find absolutely repulsive.
