Does anyone know where I could buy an Excalibur dehydrator in stores?!
Or, does anyone have any recommendations for a good dehydrator? I heard that Excalibur is the best, but I'm open to suggestions.
Answers: I know that I can order from online, but I'd rather get it in a store...

Don't buy Excalibur. Buy L'Equip. The Ex has drawers. So if you're only using one, you're wasting energy. You can never use more drawers than the machine came with.
The L'Equip has stacking trays. Use what you need. You save time, you save energy. The L'Equip costs a lot less so you save money. If the heat element breaks, you don't have to buy a whole new machine like you do with the Ex. You just buy a new heat element since it's the bottom part of the machine. The same heat element works for up to 20 trays. The machine comes with 6.
Plus it's WAY easier to clean. The trays fit in my dishwasher.
It doesn't have a timer. So I bought one of those automatic light timers folks use when they go on vacation.
I've yet to see them in stores. I ordered mine online. I have a 9 tray Excalibur.
ETA: According to Excalibur's website, they don't sell in stores.

"Why don't I see the Excalibur at Sears, Wal-Mart, or other national stores?
We sell the Excalibur direct from our factory, not through national chain stores. When you buy directly from Excalibur, you're purchasing from us - the Orton family - with no middlemen. We make them in our factory here in Sacramento, California, USA...using USA made parts. Nobody knows the Excalibur better than we do. And, because you buy direct from the factory, you pay no extra "middlemen" fees so you get an excellent price including special SALES like the one CURRENTLY in effect!"
