Actually, Curly, the whole point of her question is that she doesn't want to eat rennet - which comes from a KILLED animal. There's no point in answering a question if you don't understand what's been asked.

I second Tescos. I bought my parm there when I lived in the UK.

Congratulations, if this is one of the worries of your life, you are such a lucky person - but I wish you well and hope you get the answer to your question. You could always knit some yogurt and pretend it was parmesan, please don't ask an Italian that question. If you were real hungry, you would eat anything, bollllocks and all.

Tesco does a vegetarian Parmesan, and it is delicous.

For Pete's sake the poor animal who produced it is still alive working hard.!! What if babies protested that they wont drink their mothers milk? Come on get a life. See through the lie of by products by animals. They are healthy and Parmesan cheese is delicious. I'm honestly not being rude but just see through your choices. Are they genuinely right?

try waitroses or icelands

Asda.

My mum buys it for me in Tesco.

I'm sorry but this is an oxymoron, and worse, you are mocking Italian cuisine. Vegetarian parmesan, by definition, does not exist. You may have something that takes vaguely like Parmesan but there is no substitute for the real thing.
