Hummus isn't supposed to be hot. You can eat it at room temperature, though. I prefer it cold, though.

I'd stay away from anything being called "lemon hummus". Store bought hummus tends to be very lemon-y already (lemon is a natural preservative). If you haven't eaten it before, your best bet would be to buy a more traditional flavour, like garlic or plain.

Traditionally hummus is eaten with pita bread. You can also eat it with chips, crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetables. I like broccoli with my hummus and hearty crackers.

Dont' know about hummus the sabra kind. Hummus is eaten cold though. You can eat with carrots but I would prefer to eat with pita chips or regular pita bread. You can always take the pita bread and bake it a little so its a little crunchy. Also pour a little olive oil on top of the hummus right before you're going to eat its real good. Enjoy.

I don't like lemon hummus. I get the regular or garlic. Sabra tends to be a good brand, for what I buy anyway. I eat it cold, and it's DELICIOUS with carrots. Yum!

eat it cold on club crakers! it is sooo good my mom makes it all the time and it is healthy too!

I have yet to find a store bought hummus I like. They all see a bit tart to me. But of those I have tried I'd say the Sabra brand is the best. I'd definitely steer away from any that is "lemon" flavor though. Go for the roasted garlic or roasted red pepper or plain. Or better yet, make your own! I use this recipe and eat hummus as a snack just about everyday! It's cheap and easy to make.

1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup tahini(ground sesame seed)
1 clove of garlic
1 lrg can of chick peas
salt to taste(optional)

just mince the garlic and mix everything in a blender or food processor! Yum! Should be eaten cold or room temp but a coworker of mine heated some of my recipe in the microwave for a few seconds(by accident) and swore by it. I actually don't even like it at room temp. Cold is the best. I eat mine with Frito's scoops

its good with tortilla chips
