Vegan Support Groups?!
Answers: Does anyone know of a good vegan support group online? it's been a very emotional transition for me.

It can be an emotional journey...I found that doing a lot of research and reading about being vegan put some really solid thoughts in my head. I was surprised at how a lot of people reacted negatively toward it. Sharing recipes and stories can be inspiring.
My boss's wife is a vegan and she (last friday) invited me to her work pot lucks (all vegan, she works for WWF....I guess there are lots of vegans there :) of course) and I thought, wow how nice would it be to be able to eat everything at a potluck?
Maybe you could try and start a vegan group, even if there were only 3 of you, I think that choosing this lifestyle puts you in a minority and it can a little lonely sometimes (and it's an odd lonely....like it shouldn't be there...but it is).
Anyways, I understand and good luck to you. It took me a little while to feel solid and comfortable in my choice, but that came from research and finding out why others chose this path like me...

It's a great community for talking about anything related to your veganism... and things unrelated as well!
Is there a vegetarian or vegan Meetup group in your area? They're probably the best place to go.
There are also vegan-related Yahoo! groups.
www.waste.org has a few veg*an listservs, and there may be one in your city--take a look.
