I have been a vegetarian for about two months but I keep having dreams about eating chicken....?!

Question: Does this mean that my body wants/needs it?

Answers: Does this mean that my body wants/needs it?

I highly doubt it means anything. You were probably just thinking about food/meat before falling asleep. When we are sleeping our mind is still working. Often dreams are just things we have experienced during the day, thought about, seen on tv, etc.

Since you have just just recently become a vegetarian it is probably safe to assume that you are think more about the food you eat(and don't eat anymore), and this is simply reflected in your dreams. Your thinking more about food, therefore you are dreaming about it.

I have dreams about all sorts of random ****. They're DREAMS.

The meaning of dreams cannot be determined. Even a Dr. that claims they can is just conning the patient.

It will pass. The tastebuds actually change when you change your diet. You will lose your taste for meat. It always helps me when i think about where the meat comes from. Why should someone die so that I can eat? We can eat nice and healthy food without eating dead bodies.

Wants? probably yes...
Needs? depends on what you are eating an the state of health your body is in. some studies suggest that dreams are the subconscious communicatiing what the body needs. You may have not replaced certain meat sourced nutrients with veggies/plant foods so you need to do that.

PS I dream about kate beckinsale all the time.. do i want her or need her??? both??

i am vegan and sometimes i have dreams where i am in a bakery and i realise i am dreaming and i just stuff my face happily. Eat all you can while you are dreaming! and no. i dont' think it means anything.

The chicken wants to be eaten...
