No it wasn't wrong, it really is a good idea.
You just have to realize a lot of people aren't open to vegetarian foods and they won't be convinced to try things because you suggest it...they have to decide on their own that they want to eat veggie foods.
No, it just means that either you or your friend has to eat something, too lol.
no, I don't think it wrong! Veggie food can be just as delicious!
no. It is no more wrong than if you told her that you were allergic to something and needed her to keep the thing you were allergic to out of the menu!
nothing is wrong with that the good thing is that is a healthy snack
noooo.
whats so bad about asking for vegetarian snacks?!
veggie pride!!
well, carrots and celery cut up and offered with a blue cheese dressing to dip might be good. make sure to have lots of stuff like chips and pretzels, pop, and most importantly, BEER to serve.
Personally, I am a cheese and cracker guy.
cellary and blue cheese = win. To meat and veg-heads everywhere.
We always have a veggie tray and dip at our Super Bowl party.
Having her make vegetarian snacks is ok. I'd suggest having some carnivorous snacks as well, then ppl have a choice.
I don't understand why you think you will get hell? She wants something that's not seafood and veggie is not seafood. I'm a vegetarian and know that non-vegetarians eat non-meat foods too. I think it was a good suggestion! Don't worry about it.
I dont understand why you think you would get hell,,,, meat eatrs eat vegies too????
EDIT people aren't open to veggies????? what!?!?!?
Vegitarians arent the only people who eat veggies,,,, im confused now
No, not at all.
The Super Bowl party I go to every year has so much food that there's vegetarian friendly items even without it being planned that way.
Omnivores eat veggies too. You could've made a vegetarian suggestion without throwing the "i'm vegetarian and compassionate and you should go veg!" remarks out there. That's what puts omnis on the defense, and in turn make them offensive.
I also don't think you really needed to make a thread about another thread.
No, not at all. She was asking for ideas/opinions and you gave her your's. What's wrong with that?
