What is your advice?!
Answers: I'm planning on becoming a vegetarian is there anything i should know, and do you know any helpful websites? This is greatly apreciated, thanks ahead of time.
Good for you! I would make a list of your favorite meals / recipes and then adapt them into vegetarian versions. For example, pasta and meatballs would become pasta and Nate's Meatless Meatballs. Buy a variety of brands and do some taste testing to figure out your favorites. Good luck and see these sites for more info.

Hi.
I am a vegetarian for about 1 1/2 years to 2 years. My mom is a vegetarian too. I think you should go vegetarian, but only if YOU truly want to. If you go to google.com and type in "vegetarian" it will give you a lot of information.
Thanx for going vegetarian if you do!!! =]
Yay!! Go vegetarian!!
Visit... goveg.com for much, much info!
Plan your meals. - this would really help, so you are not hungry and then just eat whatever is around!
1) Breakfast: cereal, toast, bagel, fruit etcs.. - this covers your daily carbs, better to have carbs in the morning versus at night.
2) Mid morning: apple, protein bar. this will give you energy
3) Lunch: veggie sandwich, grilled veggies, veggie soup with lots of beans - you'll get your proteins and with the veggies, get your "a,b,c,d,e" vitamins.
4) Dinner: big spinach salad, or a leafy green salad, with a main course veggie dish. the salad covers your iron and more protein, with great vitamins. - b12
The main course veggie dish, - you can basically have what you want as along as it not to heavey in crabs. like don't eat loads and loads of paste or bread. but a little is good!

I just decided to be on after looking at peta. My sister has been one for four years and i have been one for ten months. We don't use any supplements, we just keep up a healthy diet full of protein and wheat. Goveg.com is a very helpful website. I took me two tries to become one though. Both lasted a week. You can visit a doctor after a month for them to test your blood to see if your getting enough iron and protein. Good luck.
