Extension to last question: What are foods that contain (lard, suet, gellatin, etc)?!
*So my question is, what foods do contain those ingredients & other sneeky other ones?
*what other ingredients are there that contain animal parts, fats, etc.
thank you so much.
Answers: I've been a vegetarian (not vegan) for the past 6 years (i'm 15 now). I've been pretty good about watching out for sneaky foods that contain things like lard, suet, gellatin & things like that.

Gelatin is the bane of my existance. It's in most yogurts. Candy like gummy bears, Junior Mints, jelly beans, candy corn, Skittles, some gums, Jell-o, marshmallows. It's also some shampoos and soaps.
Ceasar dressing is not vegetarian (anchovies)
Another sneaky food is all things made by Hostess, which may contain beef fat according to the ingrediant list.
Everything made by Jelly Belly, however, is safe. Most of their candy is vegan, a few contain dairy products.
You obviously have to watch for jelly, but also some sweets, like jelly babies and other gummy products. In the uk, sweet mince and christmas puddings have suet in.
lol, you've been vegetarian for 6 years, shouldn't you know?
Some fried foods are fried in animal fat. McDonald's french fries are flavored with beef tallow (another name for fat.)
There's carmine & cochineal (crushed bugs that give a red color to foods) as well as the things you listed.
